    • Great Chair But Hard to Assemble

I ordered two of these chairs and the matching side table. They are lovely, true to color, and really make a nice addition to my patio. The table was super easy to put together by myself. But the chairs were much harder for one person to assemble. The instructions suggest two people, and I concur. I’m an experienced furniture assembler, but I struggled on and off for three days to assemble the two chairs by myself because the pieces were bulky and hard to hold in place while trying to match up the pre-drilled holes and turn the Allen wrench all at the same time. I eventually managed it, and the finished chairs are great. Just be aware that assembly would go much smoother with the recommended two people. ... show more

Assembly is impossible with supplied allen wrench. You need to pre-drill all the holes prior to assembly. Holes do not line up. Once assembled, chairs are beautiful.

These are so great! Got a pair to go with some existing Adirondack chairs and these are so much better. They have an awesome backrest angle, very comfortable. Love the beautiful turquoise color, not too bright HOWEVER, they need to provide a better Allen wrench per my husband. There’s large screws and using the wrench they give would take forever. Thank goodness he has tools, but what about those who may not? ... show more

This is easy to assemble and follow the directions, but the only males in my household have fur and I lack hand strength. Here’s how to assemble with wimpy hands: When you assemble the chair, first take the screws and pre-drill all the holes. Then when assembling the the first two pieces, there are three bolt holes, use the screws for two and attach the first bolt. Take one of the screws and replace it with a bolt, then the third…. I originally ordered Hamilton chairs but was really disappointed in both the quality and the way the chairs felt when you sat in them. Then I sat in the Ashley chairs at a family members house and I couldn't believe the difference. I immediately ordered 2 of them and I could not be more pleased. The chairs are very sturdy and well made. They were easy to put together with a drill driver and they are so comfortable to sit in.
