we needed a large tv stand for our family room and they are strangely hard to find for a 70'' tv. i am glad i picked this one. it is very tall which I love that my kids wont be able to reach the tv to pull it over for a long time. it is very very sturdy once assembled. The assembly is the worst part. The instructions are actually worse than ikea, meaning they have no written directions (only pictures) and multiple steps are often included in one "step", and they dont tell you what to do first. You have to do your own trial and error. This made putting the stand together take twice about as long as it needed to. That being said my husband and I got it together in about an hour. It comes with some of the main pieces already attached to each other which was nice. i will say that our set was missing pieces - the second shelf for both the drawers. I ordered this for my sister-in-law and we both love it. The box was delivered to the porch in good shape and my nephew and his son carried it in because it's really heavy. I'm a retired almost 65-year-old female and went over and assembled it while she was at work. It took about an hour and 15 minutes, start to finish including vacuuming up the styrofoam bits and putting the box out for the trash. The directions say two people are needed but I was able to do it alone as the front and sides come pre-assembled. One piece of advice, don't fool with the included Allen wrench. I used a cordless drill with the same bit and it sped things up immensely. She's going to buy a larger TV and accessorize but this picture was taken right after I finished. This turned out to be absolutely beautiful. We mounted our TV above it and bought the fireplace insert. It has totally changed the aesthetic of our living room! If you’re hesitant on it, just get it. We have the dining room set. When we went looking for matching furniture we found Amazon was less expensive than the dealer and had better shipping time! The furniture itself is very sturdy and well built.

The entertainment center arrived well packaged. Assembly was relatively easy but you will need two people. Center is well made, the only issue I had was the screws did not lineup on the top. New holes had to be drilled. The center comfortably holds a 60 inch tv.

Ok so assembling is I thought was pretty easy (even done by myself), however, where the base gets inserted to lock into place - the one side is flush and perfect and the other side is not completely flush even though still locks in properly. I dont know if the board is bowed or what but you can see a slight gap even with it locked in properly. The side where it wasnt flush caused the grooves to not be lined up properly to insert the one backboard piece. I was able to take a knife to it to make it work out. I would have given 5 stars for assembly if this fluke wasnt an issue. The paint does mark up easily too so be careful (I accidentally knocked a shelf over and it marked it but thank goodness where cant be seen lol!). The only other issue i had with mine was one of the door knobs wasnt screwed in and no screw was to be found so i just need to go out to one but no big deal. It is pretty and seems to be sturdy piece once all put together :) ... show more
