This is one of the few I could find that was actually made of real wood. It is very heavy, so it doesnt scoot away if someone rests their feet on it. Like others, ours came with a scratch on top, but it is distressed anyway and we colored it with black and brown sharpies and no one would ever know. I did find it necessary to put little pads in each corner under the moving top where it rests on the base (the kind you would put under furniture feet) otherwise it would make noise if you bumped it. ... show more

This was easy to assemble. Everything fit perfectly. No misaligned holes or missing hardware. Very sturdy and looks great. The lift springs are strong this lens itself to also bring stiff. I have no complaints. This is a great place to eat or work. I would buy this again and again.

Heavy table and tough to put together alone but once assembled this table is great. Storage is decent but there's a hole in the middle where the hardware that allows the table to raise rests. Seems like some wasted space but the table overall is really cool.

Update: Less than a year later and color is coming off, scratches easily and the top doesn't fit into the holes when closing. This is a 2 person household with no children. No reason for the issues, poor quality. I would not recommend this product. Much darker than I expected. My accent wall is gray, these tables are definitely a dark gray/brown look (see pic) Decent quality, not sure how long it will last. Seems to scratch easily. The inside storage is smaller than expected. You only have a portion of the table for storage. Not easy to open and close, you have to use both hands and pull. For the price it could be better. Nice stylish look though and easy to assemble. I like the rollers on the bottom, easy to move around if needed. ... show more

I didn't have room in my apartment for a dining room table and I saw a table similar to this one in a store and I fell in love with it. This allows my whole family to eat dinner at a table that is big enough, yet sturdy enough to handle any meal we prepare. There's a bit of storage cubbies inside and the shelf underneath is nice too. The table was just as advertised. However, when it arrived, one of the wooden plates between the wheel and the bottom of the table was splintered in half from being screwed on too tight. Also, a piece of board was loose on the underside of the table and appears that it was attached crooked. The inside of the table once the top is lifted, the corners were chipped. Assembly was easy. We really love this table. Definitely not cheaply made. Easy to put together. Works great as my desk for real estate and to pull up to have lunch. Highly recommend this table.

The table itself is fine however the top was damaged and the stain is very uneven, especially on the top. Some of the top has no stain at all and is bare wood rather than grey. Another section has two different colors of stain slopped on unevenly. One of the corners of the tabletop was dented and the wood damaged as though the box had been dropped at some point however we’d already put the entire table together by the time it was flipped over to reveal the damage, so it was too late to return it. One of the pieces of wood underneath the table where the legs attach was already split and broken when we first took it out of the box.
