Moved and just needed two inexpensive nightstands. These sort of matched my bed frame and the price was right. I expected particle board crap, which would be serviceable. But these are actually really nice, solidly construct, good rollers on the drawers and look really nice. Deep drawers too. They are not solid wood of course, but comes essentially 100% assembled.     • Love the Nightstand, But the Ordering Process Was Frustrating

I really like the nightstand now that I finally have the correct one. It looks great, feels sturdy, and fits the farmhouse vibe I was going for. The built-in USB ports are a nice touch, and the two drawers offer solid storage without taking up too much space. That said, getting the right item was way more difficult than it should have been. Amazon initially sent me the wrong nightstand. When I tried to return it and reorder, the price had gone up. I spent a lot of time going back and forth with customer service trying to get the original price honored, especially since the mix-up wasn’t my fault. Eventually, I did get the correct nightstand and Amazon offered me a credit for the price difference, but it felt like pulling teeth. I had an older nightstand (I believe it was made by Stone & Beam), similar color, similar handle, etc. but unfortunately it was no longer made, I wanted something similar and this one by Ashley Furniture matches close enough. They are both engineered wood, but there are different qualities of engineered wood, and these are some of the better ones. The most difficult part was getting it out of the box. Absolutely perfect condition, otherwise I would have returned it and tried again. I opted to not install the charging ports, but at least these are mounted on the back of the nightstand instead of the top like most are (and they always install them where the lamp is supposed to go!). Very pleased overall. The drawers are smooth when opening and closing, the entire nightstand is of a substantial weight. And the only thing I had to do was install the handles. Easy assembly. The height is perfect for my platform bed with a 14" thick mattress. Also, many reviews complain of plastic handles, but mine came with metal handles, so maybe Ashley has changed the handles, or else I got lucky! ... show more
