I definitely had some durability and cheapness concerns while I was assembling (especially the drawers), but once they are fully assemble they look fantastic and are surprisingly sturdy, and quite hefty. I was hesitant about them being laminate, but the laminate quality is pretty good.. it’s very matte and has some wood grain texture and little pits which make it look like real wood and not the super glossy cheap wood grain stuff that haunted the late 70’s to the early 90’s. I usually don’t leave one star reviews but this junk truly deserves it. First off it’s made of the worst quality materials you can imagine It’s all pressboard and cardboard. It takes forever to assemble and you have to be super careful otherwise it will easily break, it’s way worse than ikea. The drawers are held together with plastic push pins not even screwed together. Once assembled none of the drawers line up from the front and the bottoms of the drawer fronts don’t even have anything covering the exposed pressboard to save costs so every time you open the drawers and you have some clothes in there if the drawer rubs the clothes it gets pressboard dirt all over it. Avoid this crap at all costs. Unfortunately I can’t return it because I already built this junk and it’s beyond the return period by the time I did it. It’s going in the trash …. ... show more

I purchased the 6 drawer and new that I needed more storage so I purchased this piece. It was easy to assemble alone as the pieces individually are not too heavy and you can use other furniture to act as another person or a counter top if need be. It was relatively easy to put together, follow all instructions carefully, especially when assembling the drawers. The 2 ends of the drawers have hooks the fit into the pre-drilled holes on front of drawer. Those have to be lifted very CAREFULLY and SLOWLY as instructions say, or the drawer holes will crack, be damaged, and then the whole thing is useless. I went easy and had no problem, piece of cake. Overall it looks nice, but drawers wont hold a lot of weight. So if youre just using it for clothing its fine. Not the best quality of course but it looks nice once put together. It does scratch easily so make sure you assemble on a cushioned surface, such as a blanket on the floor, and dont let the pieces rub together. ... show more

I was expecting a much higher quality product for the price. The frame of the dresser seems to be fine so far, but the drawers are very flimsy. I wouldn't put anything very heavy in them. I just needed something to hold smaller Christmas decorations and other small odds and ends, so it works okay for that. I wouldn't recommend this piece for heavy everyday use. As for assembly, most of it went okay, but several of the holes did not seem like they were drilled properly, and two of the drawer glides were installed incorrectly from the factory and were unusable. One glide wouldn't even slide out. I've ordered replacement glides from Ashley, so we'll see what condition they come in. Way too much hassle for a dresser. ... show more

It arrived with a broken foot and missing a screws necessary to finish the construction. Additionally, the drawers barely open, so you have to move items at the front out of the drawer to get to things in back of the drawer. I had to rig a couple of pieces to stay together because some the pieces work on tension instead of just screws or other mechanical attachments. The drawers don’t align well the front face of the piece or with each other. This piece is a big disappointment, a waste of money, and a waste of two hours of my time.
