  • A great resource for the sign designer.
This book appears to be of excellent quality and relevant content. Can't wait to read it all.

  • Everything you wanted to know about wayfinding but were afraid to ask
If you could only purchase one book on Signage and Wayfinding Design, Chris Calori's book would be the one to get. Ms Calori is very generous to not only share her expertise but also her firm's proprietary process methods for the greater good of the design community. The images also do a great job of supporting the text. There's a lot more that goes into Environment Graphic Design than meets the eye and Ms Calori provides a terrific primer on what to keep in mind as you research, plan, and design your signage system. ... show more

  • Hands-on design primer on Signage
Calori covers industrial design specs to graphic design to project management to rapid prototyping signs to materials to testing to final deployment. A great primer into wayfinding and signage design. For the next update, it would be great to see more color photos. The full-color spread of third party signage examples contain a few serious design flaws. How about a critique of mediocre systems? ... show more

  • Very good for all students and practitioners of this area
In my country, material for Wayfinding systems and EGD is so poor that once I locked my hands on this book, I knew how rich is this area and how many possibilities can be done in it. I recommend for clients too, because they need to understand all facets to a really good development. OBS: Sorry for my english, i'm a little rusty. ... show more

  • Finally a comprehensive signage book!
A great up to date resource for everything having to do with environmental graphics. I see this as a valuable tool for design and architectural businesses as well as real estate developers. It is laid out like a step by step guide to take you through the entire process. The only thing that I found missing was how to come up with the great creative ideas that were featured in the color plates in the book - can we use them? ... show more

  • A must-have for any designer working on environmental graphics.
Provides detailed information on how to develop a wayfinding design project from the ground up. Very well-written and intuitive information, with a nice sprinkling of intelligent humor. As a graphic designer focusing on branding and print and now about to embark on a new direction, this book has become my bible. ... show more
