  • Wow it’s loud, 20+ year player here, this is a deal
Size: 39.9"
I am thoroughly impressed and enjoying this OOO guitar with vintage finish. This was purchased to be my beater parlor guitar. The top is solid bookmatched spruce, my top is very nice. The sides and back look like ply sapele. Finish is ok, the bridge has some sharp corners, looks like stained walnut but I don’t mind for the price. The neck is very nice, satin, feels good no fret issues or sharp corners. Haven’t adjusted the truss rod or nut or saddle but everything from the box seems to work. Intonation is spot on. I can’t believe the quality for the price. Tuners are ok. Even without a professional setup It’s a very nice guitar. Good luck, hope it helps you enjoy music. ... show more

  • Just try it
Size: 39.9"
I've been playing for 20+ years and bought this for my son to take to school for guitar class. Was gonna go with a Yamaha but after reading the reviews for both brands I decided to go with this guitar and I'm glad I did. Was packaged perfectly, as for the guitar not to receive damage during shipment. The string height was perfect right out of the box, just tune and play. And with it's solid top and quality construction it sounds just as good as it plays. Tuners work fine and hold tune, intonation was great and I was just really surprised and impressed on the amount of quality you get for the money. I highly suggest this for a beginner or even a beat around, camp guitar for anyone regardless of experience. Sigma is a great brand and you won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Beyond expectations
Size: 39.9"
I ordered this at a discount since the box was damaged. the guitar inside was in perfect condition. I could not find a scratch on it or anything wrong with it. The box is very heavy and kept the guitar safe despite the external damage. The guitar itself only required some tension on the truss rod to achieve a perfect low action. The guitar has a nice rich sound low E thru high E and is very clear and articulate. The tuners are very good and it stays in tune. Fit and finish is excellent in my opinion. In conclusion. the quality of the materials, the excellent fit and finish, the attention to detail, the Martin inspired design. All of this makes this guitar an outstanding value. A great choice for your first guitar or as addition to your collection. ... show more

  • Don't waste your time—it's just like opening a blind box. Don't waste your time—it's just like opening a blind box.
Size: 39.9"
When the first guitar arrived (which I later exchanged), it looked fine outwardly—the only issue was that the strings were rusted. I thought, "Okay, that's no big deal; I was planning to replace the strings anyway." I tuned it up and played a bit, only to hear a buzzing sound caused by fret buzz. My years of guitar experience told me I needed to adjust the truss rod in the neck; and wouldn't you know it? The rod had absolutely no tension and just kept spinning freely. So, I contacted Amazon to request an exchange. When the second guitar finally arrived, it was in the ghastly condition you see in the photos—a complete waste of a month and a half of my time. ... show more

  • Amazing Guitar Amazing Guitar
Size: 39.9"
I am a beginner guitar player and I love both the look and feel of this SIGMA guitar. I received this guitar just few days ago. It is well packed, and the shipping is fast, thanks Amazon! As I am new to the guitar world, I asked my friend, who has been played guitars for more than 10 years, for advice and teaching. He mentioned SIGMA is a brand with history and the quality should be good and reliable. We tried the guitar together today, and he said it was beyond his expectation. The name-brand Grover tuners is big plus to him. To his understanding, the low-price guitar always comes with cheap plastic tuners that cannot hold tunes stably. Grover tuners do their job perfectly. Also, D'addario string is a fairly good one with fine quality. He played the guitar to test the sound. I think it is decent but not sure if it good or not, but he said, it is a much more refined sound than that of most of the cheap guitars. He shot a short strumming clip. That sounds beautiful for me indeed. Just one hope that if it comes with a bag, that would be great. That said, it is acceptable and understandable it is without accessories in the price though. Bottom line, if you are looking for a great name guitar at an affordable price, I highly recommend this guitar. It is definitely worthy of the purchase! Made by solid wood materials, along with these high-class tuners and strings, my friend said this guitar should be more than 300 bucks😁 Overall I am pleased to have this guitar and hope to play like a pro ASAP! 😉 ... show more

  • Best bang for your buck!
Size: 40”
Bought this guitar for my time at AIT in the Army. I would say this is probably one of the best guitars you can buy for under $200. The built in tuner works ok I’ve been playing for 20 years so I’m very picky about my guitars. I had to adjust the neck a little bit but not much. It came with a hex to adjust it ... show more

  • Decent guitar but perhaps not the best at this price point.
Size: 41”
After seeing and playing the respectable Sigma 3/4 Junior and 000 guitars I had to go ahead and try the solid mahogany top dreadnought. However, unlike the others I was a little disappointed. The fit and finish was subpar and I feel the gloss choked out any real mahogany tone from the top, leaving the tone somewhat hollow with no low end. It came very playable right out of the box and feels good in hand. If someone were to fall in love with one I would expect them to have a guitar that plays well and lasts a long time. However, at this price point Yamaha is going to handily beat out Sigma in the dreadnought category regarding build quality and tone 100%. ... show more

  • Buyer Beware
Size: 39.9"
I read all of the glowing reviews and against my better judgement decided to take a chance and guess what, my better judgement was correct and I should’ve listened to it. The strings were badly corroded, the top color was a gaudy yellow orange color, the neck had a pronounced back bow and the nail in the coffin was the totally non adjustable truss rod. It just spun like it was not connected to anything or broken. 😞 Been working on guitars for 25 years so I have a bit of knowledge on how it’s supposed to work. I’m happy for all the folks who got good ones but just wanted to let everyone know that there are some clunkers in the system so buyer beware! Thankfully Amazon has a great return system. ... show more
