  • Great value, better than the original LoPro model (sturdier mount, guarded adjustment knobs)
Color: Dark Earth
Much better than the original LoPro model (sturdier mount, guarded adjustment knobs). ADVANTAGES: 1) Sturdy mount (much sturdier than the original LoPro). 2) Click adjustable knobs are precise (1 MOA adjustments), easy to use, and guarded (unlike the original LoPro) so you won't accidentally bump them and alter your point of aim. 3) Fits both Picatinny and Weaver rails! It's getting harder to find things that fit the Weaver rails of non-tactical guns, so I'm glad this one fits. Kudos to Sightmark for still supporting those of us who have Weaver rails! 4) Strobe feature is great for dazzling and blinding intruders. High and Low ("Nav") settings also appreciated 5) Flashlight is easy to pre-set to either High, Low, or Strobe simply by twisting the head of the light. 6) Only requires one battery, which is used for both the laser and the light! 7) The perfect height for someone using a primary sight with a "1/3 lower co-witness", such as the Eotech EXPS2 or EXPS3, as it will not obstruct the primary sight. But see "HEIGHT DETAILS" below. 8) Great value for the price! Other laser/light combos with the same profile and precise MOA adjustment knobs cost over $1,000. DISADVANTAGES: 1) Not QD (quick detach), requires a hex tool (3mm) to install and remove. 2) Remote control: as others have pointed out, the 2nd button on the remote does the same as the first button. With the remote, you can only hold the button down, or release it, no other functions. I don't use the remote, so I don't mind that, but it means the next disadvantage is very annoying for me: 3) Separate buttons for light and laser -- it would be much better to be able to preset this to either light, laser, or laser/light combo without having to attach the remote. This is almost enough to make me deduct a star from it. 4) When using a primary sight with an "absolute co-witness", such as the Eotech XPS2, the adjustment know from the LoPro Mini Combo sticks up into the field of view. I'd prefer if both adjustment knobs were on the side, rather than on the top, to avoid this problem. See "HEIGHT DETAILS" below. HEIGHT DETAILS: The height of this LoPro Mini Combo is perfect for people whose primary sight has a 1/3 lower co-witness, such as the Eotech EXPS2 or EXPS3 holographic sights. However, this LoPro Mini Combo is just a tad too high for people whose primary sight has an "absolute co-witness", such as the Eotech XPS2 or XPS3 holographic sights. With the XPS2, the adjustment know from the LoPro Mini Combo sticks up into the field of view. ... show more

  • It's really good
Color: Black
This thing is all right. The mount is very good. Laser is civilian maximum and has a well defined dot. I zeroed it parallel to the bore and it stayed there through the 90 rounds I used to check it. The white light is 300 lumens, which is good for indoors. (when you switch it on you don't get the TLR3HL/ white hallway squint.) The tape switch is good and the cable attachment is threaded brass (fancy). For $150? That's great! I almost want another one. The Crimson Trace combo is very good too if you can still get one. The white light is stronger on the CT, but lots of people complain about the mount. The CT mount is actually very solid. Sightmark has a super-solid QD Pick mount and is also about $100 less than the CT. Top mount might be an issue with the Sightmark because of its size. The distance between the WL & VL can cause the laser to clip the edge of a front BUIS, depending on the size of of the BUIS, but it's a pretty cool little thingamajig and I'm keeping it. ... show more

  • Not a PEQ, But still a high value laser.
Color: Black
I haven't abused it, but it zeroed to my Wolf A1 easily. Things I like: Adjustment dials seem to be repeatable, the laser is daytime bright and can be seen on a green background at 25 yards in full sun. I like that the tape stitch screws in with corrosion resistant brass fittings. Overall the feel of the unit is good for a poverty tier sighting system. What I don't like: the locking collar on the tape switch is cheesy plastic and will either brake if you overtighten it, or work loose under recoil and cause faulty intermittent connection (I taped mine down). They chose high end material for the connections, but then cheeped out on the locking collar. And WHY THE HELL does the switch have two independent buttons if they aren't programmable to different functions? BIG miss by the manufacturer. Having two different sets of manual activation buttons (one each side) is also kinda stupid; it should be one set either on the back or on top like every other serious laser. My final complaint is that the light is only JUST brite enough to be useful. In today's world of cheap 1k lumen LEDs its kinda silly that this one is only 220 or so. Manufacturer should bump it to 500 at least. Overall it's a gear piece of gear for the money. I gave 4 stars because of high value. Even with some minor gripes I would have given it 5 if the locking collar was better, and the light a bit brighter. ... show more

  • Bright , dim, visible, durable, and accurate
Color: Black
Bought this about a year ago, dropped, dinged, and scratched it, but it’s still preforming like the first day I got it. Green laser is very visible, bright setting is bright, dim setting is dim, and the strobe setting gives me a headache while looking directly at it. Great product for the price. Metal housing FEELS durable, and IS durable. Only part I don’t like is how similar the buttons are. There are 2 pairs of buttons on each side. On one side, one is the laser, and one is the light, there is text by the button pointing out which button is the laser and which button is the light. The problem is, that if i need a light, there’s probably a good chance I’m not in a well lit area that allows me to even see the text. If one was at least textured, it would probably help differentiate. ... show more

  • Dumb
Color: Dark Earth
The good. The bad. Its heavy. It’s expensive. The buttons are impossible to locate I imagine impossible in a real fire fight. It has four poorly designed buttons and you have to remember the buttons on the front do one thing and the buttons on the back do another if you can find them and are able to press them correctly. If you can somehow find and press them both things happen. The included auxiliary buttons would be nice if they were longer than three inches and turned both functions on or off instead of both buttons turning only one on. Absolutely ridiculous except on a paint ball gun. ... show more
