    • Better than my other gapers.
I have a few other spark plug gapers, but I keep going back to this one. The adjuster built into the end makes it easy to adjust the gap, and sliding it along the indicator makes it easy to make sure it’s the correct gap size. Not a bad price either. Works great and a great value for the cost.

It’s a little smaller than I expected… the actual usable gauge part is about 2 inches long.. that’s fine. Makes it easy to carry in your pocket.. I haven’t checked it for accuracy, but it really doesn’t matter either because it’s not rocket science, it’s just a spark plug, you get within very few thousands. Your engine will never ever know the difference. I may try to fill the engraved marks in with paint so I can read it in less than ideal lighting. He does have the square hole on the end to open a gap back up if it’s too tight. Also could use that hole to hang on a small nail if you want to. The bright orange handle may make it easier to find when you lay it down. ... show more

    • Very Easy & Effective To Use
This is a simple tool for checking/changing spark plug gaps. The ramp-style gauge works well, and the negative electrode spreader fixture at the end of the tool fitted my iridium plugs easily and reliably. I bought two of these and am looking forward to using them in the future.

    • A better tool to gap spark plugs
I saw this in a you tube video about gapping spark plugs. The person explained how the hole at the end keeps the user from accidentally pressing against the sparkplug itself and maybe damaging it. It really did work better
