Great purchase. I had other top brands literally delivered to my house but could simply not justify paying 3x this price for a brand. I am completely satisfied that I returned the Nectar beds and went with this. It provides the support we need but also the very comfortable feel we were looking for. Yes it is leaning toward the 6 out of 10 in firmness side of the scale but not hard by any means it does give when you sit on it and as you move your body sinks in to the place you settle which gives the feel of the hotel soft we were looking for. We have not put on any pillow topper but if you were wanting something softer you could always do that and not forget the longevity of a structured matters. Replaced a $2000 mattress with this one and have been 100% satisfied. We purchased the 12 inch King mattress to replace a spring mattress we had invested a lot of money in. I have numerous ruptured discs in my back and problems with my SI joint, so it is difficult to find a bed that does not leave me sore in the morning and cause me to spend 45-50 minutes stretching in the morning. The description for this one has the same buzzwords you see on most mattresses about pressure relieving layers and etc. I can say that this is the first mattress I have had in years where I wake up in the morning with no pain. It quickly expanded to 11.5 inches, so did not quite make it to the 12 inches advertised, but I'm not sure that is critical because it is all about the feel. This is on the firm side of medium firm, but is very comfortable. You do not sink in, so side sleepers will find this to be very comfortable. It is cool compared to other foam mattresses we've had as well. I plan on buying a second one for our weekend home. ... show more

I’m glad I risked ordering a lesser-known bed-in-box because now I have a King size bed that doesn’t stink and unraveled to its full size in a few quick hours. It fit my budget perfectly which meant now I’m sleeping in perfect comfort without racking up debt. Good quality, fits our bedframe just fine, and isn’t so heavy I can’t move it by myself (I completely manipulated the rolled package by myself but did have to chuck it down the stairs which I don’t recommend 😅 def get help moving that dense tube so you don’t hurt yourself). ... show more

Its holding up well for a 300lb human constant use. Very firm, and foam. So this is not for someone that likes a soft bed. Easy to assemble, be careful when cutting through the box so you don't cut into the mattress. Its vacuum sealed into a bag. There was no smell and no noise when you roll around on it. This mattress is fabulous. I have a 14 inch. I unwrapped it on my box springs and let it "do its thing" while I did some other work around the house. Within the 1st 4 hours it had expanded to 12 inches. I put the bedding on it and let it finish and was able to sleep on it that night in pure comfort. The pillows took a bit longer because they were wrapped up in the middle of the "jelly roll" but they sleep great as well. I should have purchased this a few years ago. ... show more
