It's nice to have a solid bed after so many years of having nothing but sway-backs with springs poking out. I do a LOT of sitting here on it working on the computer because I don't have a desk & chair so, it feels like it MIGHT be "sinking in" just a tad in the spot where I spend most of my time. I had no idea it was SUPPOSED to be healing or giving pain relief but, I haven't had any to begin with so, I can't judge on that. As for sleeping, my only issue is that I should probably get a second pillow to put on or under the one I've got. I don't sink in on this bed like I did on my last 3 so, my head tilts downward instead of being level or slightly raised. A mattress is such a personal choice item. I slept on a Tempur-Pedic cloud for the last 10 years and I liked it but it was starting to sag and become unsupportive under my butt. (it's not that big) I found this mattress to be pretty firm but comfortable and very supportive where it needed to be. I've had it for a couple months and I sleep much better now than I did on my Tempur-Pedic and don't wake up to turn over near as much as I did. I liked the Temur-Pedic but didn't want to spend that kind of money on a mattress. This was a great choice for me. ... show more

I bought this for my 4 year old son new bed. Right after we opened the box and let the mattress expand, it felt very swampy. I was a bit worry about the lack of support. I also understand why some reviews said this mattress would not be recommended for grown ups. After a week or so, the mattress sort of settled in and it felt a lot firmer. My son slept longer and he loves it. The foam cradles him and he sleeps very well. The only thing is the two ends never expand to the same level as the middle, but it think it’s ok for a little kid.
