When I initially opened the package I was not impressed with material considering it’s like most other cheaper furnishings and I usually spend extra on solid wood. I think I expected better than particle board since people mention build quality in the reviews. But I went ahead and built two of these nightstands and now I know what other people were referring to, it’s just a solid design with added support. I found it to be very well designed structurally with every detail. Unlike many other products that seem small when you take them out of the box, when I put it together it was a very decent size and the perfect height for medium/medium tall height bed and box spring, and it wasn’t too difficult putting this together inlike a lot of other manufacturers. You will put together the 2nd one quick after you do the first so that was a bonus for me. Now I’ve had and used these nightstands for the past month and the aesthetics really grew on me (wasn’t sure at first) and it has a nice hotel kind of look to them. I love them and am happy, if these things only last 20 years then I will probably buy a couple more if they still make them, good value for what I consider the ideal nightstand it’s structure design, usability/function, storage, and appearance. ... show more

Really happy with these nightstands. My 12-year-old son and I assembled them together and it was pretty straightforward. The boxes arrived in good condition and weren’t too heavy to move. The media could not be loaded. So worth it the drawers are great size! Such easy assembly including extra pieces just in case. Such a nice piece for my bedroom. Quality is amazing! Such a soft wood color exactly like the photo. Can’t wait to assemble the second one.

    • Nightmare to Put Together! Particle Board. Too Expensive for the Quality.

These are a nightmare to put together. The directions are clear and easy to follow, but there are so many steps (25). It took me three hours to put the first one together. I had to take a panel off to redo a step and it was so hard to get the panel off that the panel chipped around the screw. I'm assuming its because these are actually particle board and not wood. One of the USB ports in the plug is already malfunctioning. I have to jiggle it around to get it to charge. I ordered black, but it is more of a gray. The drawer fronts are a little odd in the way they sit. The pointed tops of the drawer face opposie of eachother. They do fit perfectly in my space, and I do like the look. I do think they should have been a little cheaper especially since the aren't really high quality. $69 for shipping should not be charged. They ship them in one huge box that is so heavy you can hardly get it in the door without multiple people. I do plan on keeping them just because I don't want to have to keep searching for something to go with my space. ... show more
