At first I didn’t think it would accommodate my 13” iPad in Portrait position & then figured out the clamps go side to side, not top to bottom as expected. And Voila‘ perfect for the piano. I worried that the base wouldn’t keep it from tipping but it’s very heavy & works well. It’s a snap to put together & the parts are of high quality. Glad I didn’t just give up and send it back. I use this with my 13" ipad pro. It holds it securely and gets the job done. The arms adjust in increments and click into place. This is convenient except that the increments are too far apart so you have to constantly adjust the tilt of the head to compensate. I use it for recording content for social media and I make it work but I think if you're just using this to watch movies and don't need multiple angles and shots, it would be a great stand. I just find that it's too much work for me to position and reposition frequently although it seems to be a solid, well designed stand. I don't regret the purchase, just wish it had finer adjustment increments and a longer / telescoping horizontal arm. ... show more

    • Finding the perfect angle

This design is exactly what I wanted when looking for a stand for my kindle because it can be set to a 90 degree angle. I use this stand to read in bed or on the couch when lying down or sitting. I tried a clamp on holder next to your bed and I realized it wasn’t versatile (ie. sitting or lying on bed and couch) I also tried a stand that has the design of the Pixar lamp, which doesn’t allow it to be at a 90 degree angle and can be so awkward when adjusting. This one moves the way I want it to! There are so many areas to adjust to the perfect angle. I use it with a page turner, so stability isn’t my biggest concern because I don’t use it tap the screen. But just for the sake of review readers, when I do tap, it does shake a little. Again, not a priority for me because I use a page turner when I use this. My 2024 kindle is also pretty lightweight.
