As a work from home mom, my laptop would get so hot it was uncomfortable to work for long hours. This SHUWEI stand has been a game changer. What I love: - 3 fan speeds, and it's actually quiet even on high - I can take calls - Super sturdy, 8 adjustable heights so I can stand or sit - Folds flat, lightweight, and the cooling really works, my laptop doesn't overheat anymore - My posture feels better too since screen is higher I use it daily for work and editing. Highly recommend for anyone who works from laptop at home!

I’m really happy with this laptop stand. It’s very sturdy and holds both my laptop and my tablet securely. The fan really does help keep my laptop from getting as hot while I’m working compared to when I had it sitting directly on my desk. The fan has three different speeds, which I really like, and even on the highest setting it is whisper quiet. It also has an ambient light that you can turn on or off, so you don’t have to have the light on if you don’t want it. One of my favorite things is that the stand is adjustable. I like having my laptop lifted while I’m working because it helps me sit up straighter instead of constantly leaning forward, which means less back pain for me later. But if you don’t want the extra height, you can also lower the stand all the way down and use it flat so your laptop can stay at desk level while still getting the benefit of the cooling fan. The stand feels solid and stable, the fan works great without being loud or distracting, and I like having the option to adjust the height, fan speed, and lighting. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it if you spend a lot of time working on your laptop.

This stand is strong and and it's very quiet on the low setting. The height and angle is adjustable so I am able to use it in line with the height of my other monitors. My work laptop is very heavy and gets very hot but this has kept it cool so far, as long as I remember to turn it on every time, and after I made a slight alteration. You need to pay attention to where the vents are on your laptop. The fan is in the center and the surface is flat. My vents are not in the center, so it blocks my vents and ended up making the fan ineffective and actually made it overheat worse. When I realized this, I put two small lifters at the back of the plate to lift the back of my laptop about 1/4" off the flat surface to give it some breathing room. Now it's fantastic. I do not regret this buy and I'm happy with it, but it could use a design improvement or at least some optional attachable lifters at the back to let the laptop breathe. I doubt many laptop vents are going to alighn perfectly with this fan.

This laptop stand has absolutely been a game changer for my desk setup. It’s very sturdy and holds my laptop at the perfect angle for typing and viewing the screen without having to constantly look down. It also keeps my laptop at a much better height for my posture, which makes working at my desk for longer periods of time much more comfortable. I use a dual screen setup, and it’s perfect because I can position my laptop at exactly the angle I want next to my monitor. The fan definitely helps keep my laptop cool and even helps keep me cool while working and gaming on hot summer days here in Texas. The first two speeds are very quiet barely noticeable and even on the highest speed my customers can't hear anything in my background. Perfect for work from home setups. The light is also very aesthetically pleasing and adds a nice touch to my desk setup. It’s functional, aesthetically pleasing on my desk, and the built-in fan is especially nice during these Texas summer days. I’m really happy with it!

This laptop cooling stand has been a great addition to my desk setup. Not only does it look sleek, but the built-in fan also does a great job keeping my laptop cool when I need it. The stand itself keeps my laptop cooler whether the fan is on or off. I really like that both the height and angle are adjustable, making it easy to find a comfortable viewing position. It also includes a tool for tightening the stand, allowing it to securely support heavier laptops without slipping. The overall build feels sturdy and well-made, and raising my screen has noticeably improved my posture while working. The adjustable fan speeds are a nice bonus, and the stand stays stable without any wobbling. Overall, I’m very happy with this laptop stand and would recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy, ergonomic stand with effective cooling. Bonus: it folds flat so you can fit it in your laptop bag

Such a high quality laptop stand! Very adjustable and seems super durable so far. It definitely has some weight to it, so I’m not worried about it falling over and dropping my very heavy laptop. The fan is ridiculously quiet, I can’t even hear it over ambient noise. And it just uses a USB-C port, so you can plug it into any USB-C charger and if you’re like me, you probably already have a ton of different lengths laying around anyway! Overall definitely worth buying, especially if you’re always on the computer.

Honestly, This is the perfect laptop cooling stand! I’m really happy I got it! The fan is so quiet I don’t even hear it, and no more shuts down of my laptop in the middle of work because of overheating. It fits my computer perfectly. I love that it has adjustable highs so it keeps my posture up right all the time! I think it’s excellent purchase for the money! The material feels super durable, it has good weight to it so my computer is sitting very secure in it. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good laptop cooling stand!

I picked this cooling pad mainly because it was the only one that wasn’t a hideously ugly slab of cheap black plastic. It is an attractive, minimalist metal hinge design, and that part of it is well-designed and sturdy. The problem is that the fan underneath has the charging port facing forward - forcing the power to protrude out the front when it could be neatly tucked behind. Worse, the power buttons for the fan and light are awkwardly located behind the juncture of the power cord connector and the housing, effectively blocking your fingers from reaching them without much stooping and fumbling. This would be somewhat less of an issue if you plan to keep the hinge more “open” with you keyboard inclined at a steep angle, but I like mine as flat as possible so getting to those buttons is a major pain. I’ll add that the plastic fun mounted underneath seems pretty flimsy and is quite loud on the medium and high speeds. Overall though, it is effectively cooling my MacBook Pro so it has stopped its daily afternoon overheating. In summary, the aesthetic design is good while the functional design is lacking. 3.5 stars. (NOTE: The USB-C power cord that was included was defective - and went right into the trash. I had lots of other ones hanging around though so this review doesn’t penalize for that.)
