Very sturdy. Positions laptop screen even hight with monitor for viewing. Fan works good. Not to loud, 3 speeds, didn't test cooling temp change amount purchased for holding laptop higher. Comes with a tool to adjust tension of bolts that hold laptop higher and lower but didn't need to use it, enough play to adjust height. 14" laptop fits well stand is not bigger than laptop.

Raised our 14" laptop to a convenient height exactly in the range we wanted and held it well positioned at an angle. The adjustments feel firm and very sturdy. The fan runs well, rather quiet, and kept our laptop a noticeable few degrees cooler. Adjusts and swivels smooth and easy. Has a decent weight to it and feels very sturdy overall. Very satisfied.

I really like the material and components that were used in the construction of this laptop stand. The aluminum is lightweight and very sturdy. I was able to customize the various angular adjustments to meet my needs perfectly. The fan has three different speed settings and seems to circulate air fairly well. My only complaint is that the fan is just a little bit noisy. It's not so much that it's loud, but that it has a slightly wobbly sound to it. It sounds like the fan is simply cheaply constructed, but I'm very picky and sensitive to ambient sounds, which is why I noticed it. However, it's still a great product for the money and I'm sure that it is comparable to similar products, in regards to fan noise.

I’ve been using this for three months now and I love it. I usually leave reviews after using the product for some time just to make sure I get full experience, and this stand has worked perfectly for me. I work from home and study, so sitting a lot ever since I have used the stand, I could sit still correcting my posture. It’s really sturdy and the best part is cooling. You can charge it with c-type cable and if you laptop gets heated, you just turn on the fan and cool your it down! I definitely recommend trying this if you work, study, or for whatever reason use your laptop constantly. Best purchase ever!

I'm so glad I opted for this (mostly) metal version, versus a cheap plastic one from a different seller. As we know, black plastic specifically, in gas off toxins that affect your overall health and hormones. So I usually go for lighter plastic, or - if I can avoid it - metal. Love the sturdy stand. It is not very loud at all, has 3 fan speeds, and the light can be turned on and off. Since I plug it into my regular outlet and not my laptop, the cable could be longer, but I am simply using one I had already. Otherwise, if you plan on plugging it into your laptop to run it, you'll be fine. Very nice addition to my workspace. I wish I had thought of getting this sooner. Also, super nice that the height and angle can be adjusted.

This is a very nice fan. I purchased for my husbands gaming computer it cools it perfectly the fans on the computer (which can be very loud) never come on this little fan keeps it properly cooled. There are 3 fan setting he uses the 2nd setting most days. If he has played for more than 6 hours he will have to turn it to the highest setting. It is a very quiet fan. I would definitely recommend this fan and purchase again.

I picked this cooling pad mainly because it was the only one that wasn’t a hideously ugly slab of cheap black plastic. It is an attractive, minimalist metal hinge design, and that part of it is well-designed and sturdy. The problem is that the fan underneath has the charging port facing forward - forcing the power to protrude out the front when it could be neatly tucked behind. Worse, the power buttons for the fan and light are awkwardly located behind the juncture of the power cord connector and the housing, effectively blocking your fingers from reaching them without much stooping and fumbling. This would be somewhat less of an issue if you plan to keep the hinge more “open” with you keyboard inclined at a steep angle, but I like mine as flat as possible so getting to those buttons is a major pain. I’ll add that the plastic fun mounted underneath seems pretty flimsy and is quite loud on the medium and high speeds. Overall though, it is effectively cooling my MacBook Pro so it has stopped its daily afternoon overheating. In summary, the aesthetic design is good while the functional design is lacking. 3.5 stars. (NOTE: The USB-C power cord that was included was defective - and went right into the trash. I had lots of other ones hanging around though so this review doesn’t penalize for that.)
