2025-06 I used this item for 1 week. Works well. Left the item for a while, came back to it in Jun 2025. Sadly it has stop worked working. Couldnt turn it on. Tried to charge it for 3 days, still cant turn it on. It is dead. 2024-11 Tested it out for 2-3 days worth of video shoot This is based on various other wireless mic for your mobile phone. Also do not compare this with a sound proved studio recording room, and studio recording mic This is what I found: Good - Voice recording is pretty good - Wireless function is pretty good , no lag or drops . A ton better than the older mic that connects to a separated wireless receiver - Noise reduction feature is fantastic Bad - Does not work with lightning . I bought 3 different USB C to Lightning wires, converters, attachments and it just doesnt work or doesnt work well at all . Only use this with USBC C devices - Mic and Receiver is made out of cheap plastic. Buttons is made out of cheap plastic and feels fragile and cheap. - Manual on how to use is on a single piece of paper. I need to search for hours on youtube and the net to find out how to do things. For a company their size, they should at the very least, make the manual 2 pages thick, a couple of videos, or how to on their website - Made in China :(

Just want to start with the overall summary of: expensive but worth it! I’ve been familiar with Shure since I bought my SM7 a few years back and have been using the Rode wireless GO II for my outdoor content for a while now but knew this would be a step up in sound quality if Shure’s other products are anything to go by. The sound quality that you get from these tiny little things is insane Bought the Receiver kit for Movemic as I sometimes record with my Sony A7 which works fine on an initial full day test, but I didn’t realize until after I purchased that I can also use both the mics directly with my phone without the receiver… I just needed to download the shure app from the app store and I didn’t need to use the receiver. Pretty cool feature being able to connect two mics to the phone and was also able to record all my stuff in their app which seems to work fine for what I need. Also was able to configure audio settings like gain, limiter, compression in the app and receiver to just tweak the sound depending on who is wearing the mics. Also found the presets for all of this stuff to be good enough if I’m honest. Haven’t tested battery life to the maximum yet but haven’t ran out of battery yet on my first full day of testing so can’t complain there. If I was being picky only negative I can give is they didn’t supply a lightning cable so I can’t use my receiver with my iPhone 14 to use it with other apps. Turns out I can buy it separately from Shure but I’m fine with using their app and not using the receiver with my phone so doesn’t bother me too much All in I’m super impressed by MoveMic from shure and it definitely feels a step up compared to the Rode I’ve been using for the past couple years. Yes it’s expensive vs the others, but I’d say it’s well worth the extra! Would give it 9.5/10

I just bought these without the receiver - they connect fine with the MotivVideo App and sound great outside with fuzzy topper for wind BUT the app must be used for the video recording and is Heating up my iPhone 11 Pro super high and also drains the iPhone battery quickly. Anyone else having these issues? I never heard back from their support team when attempting to find a fix so returned the item since it’s too costly of a product to have any issues with it.

Got this to as an alternative to my belt-pack worn lavalier (BLX14R) by the same company as I've run into issues the last few years with getting interference using that product and I didn't know that Shure's website has a frequency search page to help you determine which model to get based upon where you're using the mic. That doesn't help a mobile DJ like me since I'm never consistently operating in the same area or venue. Use this set of mics has been nothing short of phenomenal. You can actually go into the menu settings to separate each channel so that each mic is running off of the one channel and in essence you have two separate microphones albeit running in mono. Distance has been amazing as with the belt-pack lavalier I'm lucky to get 100 to 200 feet in even ideal conditions. So far, I've been on average of 200+ feet away from the microphones and it's picked up without any noticeable interference. The mics are small enough to be discreet, especially for wedding ceremonies. The menu on the receiver is relatively easy to navigate and has a set and forget workflow, remembering how you had it last even if you turn it off. Having USB-C is also nice to help charge everything. So happy with this. Recommended.

These Shure mics work as expected and it’s easy to set up. I connected the mics to my macbook as well and the next time I get my hands on them I’m connecting to my Blackmagic ATEM because I can. I had a scare hours before my iphone stream when I performed a pre- check and one of mic’s battery was drained. The mic refused to charge. As stated in the manual the reset button on the charge box button fixed this problem. I love it and haven’t seen it since I brought it into the office.

This system has changed the game for my content. Not only are these mics really simple to set up, small, and sound great. When you use the app with them, you can add compression, add equalization, and even label each mic so you know what you’re recording. The only downside was when I opened the box there wasn’t a cable for my iPhone so I can use the Camera app on the phone If you use the app to record video, then you don’t need that cable, but I just find it easier to use the native camera app on my phone. And in order to use that app, you have to have a cable for the iPhone. But besides that these things are stellar. Equalizing settings are a game changer, especially if you’re interviewing people with different types of voices. I highly recommend these
