Yes, they’re expensive. But Im telling you I have no regrets. Over the past few years I’ve owned Bose Quiet Comfort, Sennheiser Momentum, Shure Aonic 215, Bang & Olufson H95 and Beyerdynamic DT770. I listen to a lot of music, movies and pod casts. The Bose were good but lasted less than 2 years before one side just stopped working. The Sennheiser Momentum are built to last, great features and great sound but they’re just not that comfortable after an hour or two. The H95’s were good but just good and for $800 you’d think they would surprise you. I first bought the Shure 215 and really like them. Then I lost one of the ear pieces. If I could kick my own ass, I would have. I decided to replace them but this time I bought the Shure Aonic 5. I paid $689 to get the bluetooth adapter. I know it’s a lot of money but, they are sturdy and built to last. Im hoping it’s my last pair for a long time. I will be updating this review. The sound quality of the Aonic 5 is unmatched in its price range and below. To get something better you’d have to spend nearly a 1k. It mids are strong and clear and the highs are crisp without sounding tinny and the base is perfectly balanced. The bass gives you that solid thump without sounding like a pair of Beats. If you’re going to invest the money into a pair of Shure earbuds, go the extra mile and get the bluetooth adapters. They are very comfortable and wrap your ear to keep them in place. If you wear your earbuds for extended periods of time, the quality of sound is very important to you and you demand quality and durability then you want the Shure Aonic 5 with bluetooth adapter.

Sound quality, noise cancellation abilities were superb...until the they literally came apart within 8 month of purchase. The wire used to bend earbuds (this is only done once) began piercing the rubber casing making the headphone unusable. I was shocked given the high price. Very disappointed. The upside is that the earbuds can be removed from the wiring harness and that can be replaced

If you're thinking about something for listening music at your work - don't buy these. Seriously. You will not be able to do any work - you will just listen perfectly sounded and balanced music from these earbuds - and you will want to listen each sound again and again wondered how many details you missed before.

Expensive? Yes. Incredible sound? Without question. Don’t buy these if you are looking for bass to overwhelm you. These earbuds do not color the sound, they deliver clear separate instrumentation unlike any other ear buds I have heard. I absolutely love these.

Okay... When I first got these, I was kind of disappointed because I actually expected them to be Bluetooth. But... Wow, Wow, Wow!!! The sound quality on these wired earbuds is the best quality I have EVER experienced... I mean - EVER!!! I am going to come back in a couple of days and update this review with some more specifics and accompanying photos. I just wanted to really "quick-like" share my experience thus far... Oh, and the first song that I listened to with these (as chance would have it), was Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" and holy ~ WOW 🤯! It was like I was listening to it either live and/or for the very first time. The audio shifting from left to right and the intricate pick up of all the high and low frequencies with these things was dizzying, but in a GREAT way! These earbuds have seriously defined to me what people refer to as an "Audiophile." Superior quality that you can hear, feel and see! In case you don't understand what it is that I am trying to convey, let me sum it up with this ~ I FRIGGING LOVE THESE EARBUDS!!! ***Update*** So, I just uploaded a bunch of photos of these ear buds (as I said I would 😁)... I included a series of pics, that shows how you remove the earbuds from the cable and how to remove and replace the "tubes." There are 3 separate tubes that you can use in the earbuds, to further customize the audio. They come with the grey tubes (neutral) installed and then have 2 other tubes to choose from. The black ones increase the decibels by 2.5 and the clear tubes decrease the sound output by 2.5 decibels. Changing out the tubes is somewhat "technical," with a bunch of small parts and I highly recommend that you get yourself a clean "work station" where you can keep everything in order. I used the empty case that the accessories came in, to keep all the tiny parts from not getting lost. Because of the degree of difficulty in customizing these earbuds, I would not necessarily recommend these for younger people and/or people with arthritis or difficulty manipulating small parts. It also comes with a HUGE array of different types of ear cushions to choose from. I have played around with different combinations of both the tubes and the different "cushions" and I have to say that after all the fiddling around, I prefer the combination of the tubes and cushions that came from the factory 🤔😁 But, it is really cool to know how many different options you have, to truly make these earbuds just the way you want them. If there are better earbuds or even headphones out there, I would love for someone to tell me which ones... Because (yet again), I LOVE THESE THINGS!!! If you can reasonably afford these, just do it... You really have nothing to loose. If you don't think that they are the best earbuds or headphones out there, I am sure that you will be able to return to Amazon. But, if these are in your budget and you order these and test them out, I highly doubt that you will ever consider parting with these.
