While it said this was compatible with my 08 chevy impala ls, it is not. It says green check, part match provided they are installed in the rear of the vehicle. Then it goes on to state that it *also* fits police and taxi models. Except it doesn't also fit them...it *only* fits them. The standard line of consumer Impalas take different struts altogether. Very disappointing. I only ordered them Because the specfic wording led me to believe it would fit all models. Instead there ought to have been a large warning stating: ⚠️ !this fits police and taxi only!⚠️ Now everyone's time is wasted. Mine (plus 4hrs worth of fuel (to my mechanic's location) and $30 in labor, tho he could have charged me $85), Amazon's, the seller and my mechanic's. If you are going to sell parts, plan for the precision required for different makes, models and subtypes..basic. And make your claims crystal clear. If you do cause this kind of hassle, fix it faster. I can't talk about the quality of the part because we didn't even get that far. Non starter. Update If you are getting these from the shoxtec store as I am, just know that at this point I am extremely unhappy with how they've handled the matter. They've cost me a ton of extra time, anxiety, and money. Very displeased. If these people do not process the refund very soon I won't be able to receive the replacement parts that I'm going to have to order all over again in time for my appointment and that will result in even further hassle. If it were a time when I had spare funds then it wouldn't be that big of a deal but I need the refund from this company's mistake to remedy their mistake. ... show more
