We need new luggage for a series of trips from America to Europe and North Africa this summer. On paper this was the best set for the money and it still seams like the best overall deal on Amazon after the first of our scheduled trips (Morocco and Portugal). The PVC + ABS material is resilient and the corners are rounded so I feel confident in the claims of high durability and impact resistance. This set is one of the few that has 2 expandable bags (large and medium) and in addition to the divider with its two built-in zipper pockets (one mesh) it has an extra pocket running top to bottom along he hinge for small items like cosmetics and toiletries. The wheels are great an the lock and zippers are perfectly functional. We bought another luggage set at the same time that was made by Fanskey. It features silky smooth YKK zippers on the outside that make these zippers feel good, but not great. But the inside zippers are more or less the reverse and it lacks the extra interior pocket or the expandable mid-size bag (only the large is expandable). I think the Showkoo is the probably the better choice for most people because of the features and impact resistance, but for the trip I just took, I think I liked the Fanskey a little better because the flatter sides and sharper corners together with the slick zippers made it a little easier to pack. But it is super close. I would choose based on color. One concern that we had with the Showkoo is that if you add up the length width and height of the large bag it ends up exceeding the combined size allowed by many airlines. This is the direct result of the rounded corners. But if you measure the circumference with a flexible tape measure I think you will find that the rounded corners make the circumference the same as the more flat-sided Fanskey bags we bought. In practice I think airlines are going to be a lot more concerned about the weight of the bag than its ultimate dimensions. (And we actually got away with a couple of extra lbs on our return flights.) So I would not be concerned. If you find the color you like (and my wife really likes the bright green) than I would say go for it. But I would probably buy the Fanskey again in the shiny navy blue just like I did this time. ... show more

I hope that I’m not jinxing myself by typing the review out, but….. these little heifers have held up rather well for me, so far! I have traveled both internationally and nationally now. Codes worked for my locks (no problems w/TSA either bc I did see them unlocked my larger bag w/their keys). No rips or tears. No problem with the wheels or handles, etc. I’ve recommend this luggage to family/friends already! Does the job, especially for the price too. It’s definitely nice luggage for the price. I haven’t used it in airport yet but it seems sturdy and it rolls/moves really smooth. Had a couple scuffs on the bottom when I got it but nothing too major. The color is really pretty, I took a star off bc of the scuffs and bc the inside is blue? Aesthetically I think that was mistake bc it doesn’t match it go with the pink at all. They should’ve left it black. All in all worth the price. ... show more

Eventually it did show up the quality on this product is great. They are very sturdy and long lasting. I just purchased this 4 piece luggage set and just recently used one of carry-on sized pieces for a long weekend and it was perfect. Planning on using the largest piece (along with one of the carry-ons) for a week long trip later on this year. This is the second set of this suitcase that we have bought. We bought our first set a couple of years ago and loved it. Sometimes you just each need a big suitcase though so bought our second set this year when we caught them on sale. Now we each have a large or medium case and a carryon size. They are really tough. We’ve been on numerous trips and haven’t had any damage to any of our case or stuff inside. A couple of scuffs, but thats to be expected. I love that they have a TSA lock on them so I can lock them and not worry they are going to bust my case open if inspection is needed. So far so good. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more
