Oh my goodness, I *love* these! So different and really on-trend. One of those little details that make the bathroom look fantastic and really pulled together. I bought an 84" shower curtain along with the 27" chains, then placed the tension rod right at the ceiling. With that set-up, the chains drop 13.5" (a little less to accommodate the diameter of the rod) so the curtain goes to about an inch off the floor in a bathroom with an 8' ceiling. It really makes the space, giving it a high-end look. There was zero problem connecting the ball chains-- not too tight or too loose. No tools needed (as one reviewer mentioned in their case.) The curtain I bought has a snap-out liner so that will make it easy to remove and wash. The one negative I can see is trying to snap those chains together and hang the curtain with the rod already in place but, as long as there's a step ladder, it won't be an issue. Another note-- the color is antique brass. I've got a gold mirror and light fixture plus oil rubbed bronze hardware and knobs. This bridges the two beautifully. I've never liked matchy-match anyway, but I do love the continuity with the two. The color is accurate in the picture but the lighter brass does show more in real life. Very pleased!

We wanted our curtain to hang lower from the bar than the standard 2 - 3 inches on most rings. These did the trick since you can cut them to any length desired with a pair of wire clippers or scissors. Pro tip - instead of trying to count how many beads you're cutting off on each one to make the equal length, just stretch them out on the counter lay one you've cut to the desired length next to it - makes it a 5 minute job.

I would really like these, if the QC were better. There were exactly 12 chains in the package, but one was defective (missing the connector). There was an address in small print on the card included, but really? Not even an e-mail or telephone number? I would like to use these asap. If I hear back I'll happily change my review.

I just received the shower curtain rings today, so I cannot say if they work well. But I can say I was disappointed as soon as I opened the package. They are not the same color as advertised. My bathroom has gold/brass and these do not match. update; color is off, but they are pretty awesome. My kids would always make the shower curtain fall some how. Since using these curtain hooks it hasn't fell since.

So I got tired of my old ones which keep falling off to the floor leaving my shower curtains hanging. So I wanted to try a new one that would never do that. So I picked this one. And yes so far, I’m satisfied on that part. The problem is, it’s really hard to put because you have to press it in hard. Then when you take it off (to wash the curtains or change it) you have to put an extra effort in pushing it out. But I’m ok with that since it fixed my main problem.

I use an old quilt to enclose the front of a storage area for a refrigerator and freezer in my unheated garage. I hang a drop light between the units and it generates enough warmth to keep the compressors running when the outside temperature drops below freezing. I had trouble finding large hangers that were sturdy enough to hold the weight of the quilt and thin enough to glide easily since I have limited space behind the rod. These chains fit the bill perfectly. I access the firg daily and none of the chains have failed in three weeks so I have high hopes for them. The chains are 6 1/2" long and fit my 1 5/8" rod with room to spare and I believe they would work well on a rod up to 2". Since mine are not exposed to excess moisture I cannot speak to how they would hold up in a bathroom or other wet location.

I needed something that would over a square sliding shower door top track as the shower doors were removed. I bought 2 sets joined two together and they were perfect for an industrial look and they fit over the square track.

These are okay, but only after having to work on them. It was impossible to hook the ball in the slot without using a screwdriver first to open it up. I do like the looks of them but was disappointed that they weren't 'ready-to-use'. Make sure if you order them you have a cutting board and good standard screwdriver in order to make them usable.
