By adjustable it means velcro closures, both at the part where it straps across the chest, and around the upper arm. The chest strap goes above your breast as shown in pics/video. The upper arm is made for someone between a 12/14 USA women size at its maximum. I wear a 14 and have fat upper arms where I lost a lot of weight. The velcro pinched and irritated. However I also had previously purchased a compression sleeve, and wearing the two together made a huge difference. With the compression sleeve, it fits properly and is not irritating..

This sleeve does provide some support and pain relief but it is clearly not meant for a woman on the smaller side. I am roughly a size 6 and as you can see I have it maxed out on how small I can make it and still have Velcro function.

This product was a game-changer for my pickleball games! I'm hooked on playing at least 5 days a week, and it's been a huge help. The material withstood multiple washes and dryer cycles without any issues. It really helped reduce pain and kept my shoulder warm during play, which made me more aware of my injury.
