This has a very pleasant rose scent but if I put a new square of wax in my warmer the smell only lasts about a day. When I want to refresh it I use an old apple peeler to carve out a hole in the cold wax and drop a new scent square in. I have learned you can make a terrible mess carrying melted wax to the trash can. Some scent wax has such a strong scent it gives me a headache, that does not happen with this scent wax. I have always loved using my wax warmer with scented wax. I used to buy it at discount stores but could never find rose scented. I finally ordered these and the difference is shocking. For the first time, I was able to smell just one wax cube of this all throughout my house. I could never do this with my previous brands. I am a customer for life. I like these too. I ordered the Trapp home fragrance and they are much stronger ( tuberrose) . These Gardenia have a nice mellow scent, I did 2 cubes and it wasn’t overwhelming at all. My husband didn’t complain it was too smelly, so that’s a good sign, since he hates smelly stuff😂😂. The scent doesn’t linger though, like if you walk by when the warmer is off, you don’t smell it. So I think the oils are much milder than the Trapp fragrances…I would order one package and see what you think. But I would order again and in another scent. ... show more

I purchased a bunch of Shortie’s Rose Scent wax melts back in 2022 — with high quality essential oils, these WERE the best wax melts I’d ever used. It smelled like “real” English Roses, and the scent carried throughout the entire house. When the screen door was open, or when people came to our front door, they could smell the beautiful scent just outside. We received so many compliments on how welcoming our home was and how wonderful it smelled; many asked what we were using so they could purchase the same. Shortie’s other scents were equally impressive. So when I ran out in 2024, I ordered more. Still using a 24w electric-base wax melter, I used them all up. But I will not be ordering more … because there was almost NO SCENT. I was so disappointed … did they think we wouldn’t notice? Unfortunately, skyrocketing prices forced many companies to cut back in order to remain competitive. Some cut back on quantity (less product same price), some cut back on quality (cheaper ingredients same price). Based on my recent purchase /use, and given the new lack of scent, it would seem they cut back on Quality Essential Oils. Unfortunately, a ‘lack of scent’ defeats the purpose of buying wax melts. Please go back to your original amazing-smelling formulas 🙏 Until then, the search for a quality wonderful smelling wax melt begins again. ... show more

Scent: English Lavender
The scent on these was only apparent when I opened the package. It seems like a good quality wax product, but with the smell lacking, I try to find my favorite Scentsy French Lavender blocks again! Just a pity I had to waste my money on these :(
