I purchased these carpet tiles for an upstairs hallway. Besides going around the stairwell, I had 4 doorways to deal with, but these were so easy to put down! I found the best way to cut them was to mark the bottom and use a metal straight edge and sharp box cutter. It made a nice, clean cut. They adhere very well. When laying the tiles next to each other, I found it worked best to slightly pull up the edge of the one that was already installed and then press the two down together. This kept the carpet fibers from getting caught in between or underneath the two tiles, and therefore I cannot see any lines. The only thing I might recommend is to order one or two boxes more than you think you will need. When I measured, I measured the whole room and ordered the amount I should have needed for that area. I did not deduct anything for the stairwell, which is about a 35" x 80" area. With that large of an area where no carpet was needed, I figured I would have enough carpet left over to put in the small 24" x 40" closet, but I used every last square for the hallway floor and all I have left are a bunch of narrow strips from around the edges. Nothing I can use in the closet. I have put down carpet in rooms before. I would say it is more time consuming to put down the tiles than a full carpet, but it was a lot easier than wrestling with a large piece of carpet when I'm all by myself. And much easier dealing with 18 inches than with 8 feet (or 18) feet when the walls are not square! Overall, I am very happy with these tiles and would definitely order them again if I had any more carpeting to do.

It was very easy to install. The room was not even, and cutting the tiles was easy. I did this myself, and you hardly notice any seams. It’s soft, and comfortable to walk on. I got these for my twin nephew’s room, because their prior flooring was nasty. It stuck beautifully to the subfloor that I had previously primed. Highly recommend!!

The peel-and-stick backing makes it incredibly easy to place and align them, even if you’re not particularly handy. No glue, no extra tools—just peel, stick, and press down. I was excited at first with this first box. The carpet is plush and looks good. I ordered a second box and the carpet is a different color and thinner? I ordered the exact same thing as I ordered before so I'm very confused.

Was skeptical that you would not see the seams because of other reviews but I figured it was operator error so I bought the tiles. I tore out the old carpet and placed new tiles down in just under 4 hours. Needed an inexpensive carpet for a room we smoke in. It came out better than I could imagine. Truly seamless, very good quality. The only thing I think should be improved is the padding could be thicker. But it’s still soft.

The media could not be loaded. So myself and my husband had to rip up carpet in our master bedroom from the previous owners lack of care. I felt it was more appropriate and less costly to go this route than traditional carpet. If there's an accident I can just replace the one or two tiles rather than a whole room. It's holding up great beneath all of our pets paws and it hasn't lost its fluff with my husband's chronic pacing. It is still super soft and the seams that seem to show up if I don't vacuum daily disappear again when I do. We can live with that. For the most part it's only a small section that separates anyway. We were mind blown when we installed it at the lack of visible seams that it was hard to tell how big each piece was when showing it off. I wish there was thicker padding but that's because I'm a creature of comfort. We definitely recommend and we will absolutely be making further purchases.

Got these to cut down and use for mounted cat shelves. They are soft enough to be comfy for the cats, were easy to cut to size, and while the adhesive isn’t the best on wood, they definitely stay put once they are on there.
