Pricey but worth it
Color: Black
I’ve been an AfterShok Air user for over 5 years. That was a great product. It wasn’t perfect so I definitely looked for at least the same or even better. This OpenFit Pro does not disappoint. The noise “canceling” function works great. You do have to understand and accept the fact that this is an open ear headphones so the noise canceling is not going to be perfect. But I think it worked great for what it is. The sound quality is great. Music has good depth. Video speech (e.g. YouTube) is clear. Voice (Phone call and FaceTime) is also very clear. I usually have two devices connected to the Pro at the same time. Switching between them is painless. Most of the time, the switching is automatic, based on the presence/absence of sound output. I also like the auto power on/off function. Even if I don’t park them at the exact charging well (in the charging case), once they are out of my ears, they’ll power down, saving battery. Of coarse, one of the down sides of the old AfterShok Air is the band connecting the two sides, making it impossible to use while on a pillow. With this OpenFit Pro, there is no issue with any lying position. At $250 or there about, it is pricey for the class. But for users like me who wear headphones for a few years, the average cost per year really isn’t too bad. Knowing what I know now, I would still buy this again. ... show more

Don’t need any other audio device.
Color: White
Best audio device I’ve used. They get worn the entire 16 hour day, just about every day, sometimes accidentally for 24 hours cause you’re able to fall asleep with these since they’re so comfortable. Loud enough to entirely drown out outside noise even on airplanes and next to busy streets, noise cancellation is very useable to make a listening experience even more clear and clean. constantly listening to stuff from morning to night, they usually only die after about 12-14 hours of use, and then a 10 min charge gets them through the rest of the day, and full charge takes like 15-20 minutes. The case is sturdy and strong, no flexible weak plastics, just a nice solid feel all around. Connecting and pairing is seamless, easily switches between the computer and phone within seconds, so no big device-commitment or repetitive disconnecting-repairing sequences. The use of a physical button is much nicer than the typical touch surface interface, so actions like volume adjusting, pausing, answering calls, noise cancelation, and skipping songs are easy and accessible rather than being gimmicky. ... show more

Excellent sound, crystal clear calls, and perfect for workouts!
Color: Black
I’m extremely impressed with these Shokz OpenFit Pro earbuds. The sound quality is excellent, but what has surprised me most is the call quality. People I speak with regularly tell me how incredibly clear I sound, and some can’t believe I’m actually talking through earbuds. They’re also fantastic for working out. They stay securely in place even when I’m moving around, and I don’t have to constantly adjust them like other earbuds I’ve owned. The battery life is another huge plus—I can use them for long periods without constantly worrying about charging them. Great sound, outstanding call clarity, secure fit, and excellent battery life. Definitely a 5-star purchase for me. ... show more

Excellent open-ear earbuds.
Color: Black
Great set of ear buds. Very comfortable almost forget you have them on. They are around or outside the ear (open ear) - not in the ear. I have tried the noise cancelling feature and it seemed to work great. They connect to my phone well. They would probably be ok for active wear but I have not tried that yet. The case seems to charge the ear buds and last a long time. They are a bit expensive but worth the price. I am very pleased. ... show more

Very very good with some minor annoyances.
Color: White
UPDATE!!! After an extra week trying this out. I have to let these go. VERY VERY VERY Hard Decision. Sometimes they feel like they might fall off but I have a lot of piercings. Anyway - - - - chunkiness and residual static noise that keeps happening is why I'm returning. The static was happening too often, maybe a connection issue but my Bluetooth is top tier so I know it's not my phone or tablet. _______________ I was comparing these to a lot of different brands and other options within the same ecosystem. I noticed that the Cleer brand had a close rating to these. Even though the other brand is rated higher online, the Shokz are slightly clearer in music and way more comfortable in my opinion. Just a heads up, I don't go swimming and haven't sweated in these yet, so I apologize if that's what you are looking for. Impressive Noise Isolation: The calls are good. I got right up next to my running water, my clothes dryer, and even squeaked my dog's toy right next to them. People on the other end said they could barely hear any of it and the toy seemed far away. Audio Quality: The music is great. I barely used the ANC (honestly unnecessary) , and while the Dolby Atmos is a nice additive, it’s not really noticeable to me. Since I own AirPods and other nice premium brands, these don't really hit that exact level, making the feature feel unnecessary and overpriced for no reason. BUT, I still really enjoy them for the comfort and clarity. Comfort: I love the soft Silicone. They wrap well around the ear but are a bit clunky, feels odd and a tiny bit heavy. Not super noticeable but noticable if you know what I mean. I few times I felt like that were slightly coming off the ear due to this. Minor Annoyance: Controls are unclear and confusing. Buttons and tab controls that make no sense to me. I'm young and tech savvy but also, want clarity and convenience. They do tend to disconnect every once in a while or get a bit of static out of nowhere. Anyway, I really like these but I am going to try for one more week before I decide whether to keep them or let them go. ... show more

10/10 Would Recommend!
Color: Black
I've been enjoying my ear buds for about three months. I wanted to wait a bit and see how I felt about them, after the excitement wore off. Unfortunately it never wore off so here I am to tell you I'm still loving them. They are clear, have good sound quality and they've handled being drunkenly dropped in the dirt while camping and trodden on. Still work just fine. They fit wonderfully and if you need to adjust the fit, they come with spacers to go on the over-the-ear hook, so they fit better. I can wear them forever without them hurting my ears. I never have a problem with them connecting to my Samsung S26 Ultra and they last all day. ... show more

Awesome and the best earbuds
Color: Black
I really didn't need a new set of opening earbuds. I had already had a an older version of a Shokz that I was very happy with. I prefer the open earbuds because I like to be aware of my surroundings all the time. Plus in the office people always come up to talk to me. I was very curious about these pro version and all the talk about them with the noise suppression. I went ahead and ordered and thinking that I would return them eventually. Once I received them and put them on immediately I heard it difference of sound. Completely amazing. Better face better trouble clear sound. I immediately fell in love with him. There is no comparison from my older version of earbuds at all. I did try the Bose top version and these still we're more comfortable and in my opinion sounded better. The noise suppression really works well. It suppresses enough of the background noise so that I can join my music for audio books much much better. You have to remember they are open earbuds so it is not canceling all the noise. One example is I have a 25-year-old truck that's very noisy when I drive. When I have my Pro earbuds on it suppresses all the noise in the cabin for me. It really works amazing. I also had and used them in a large gym facility where they play their own music. The earbuds work fantastic. In the gym they work pretty good but I prefer my full ear cover Beats. For phone calls they are amazing. I hear crystal clear phone conversations and the people tell me that I sound very clear with very very little noise background when I speak. So overall these earbuds are amazing. They are worth the $250 I paid for. I tried many earbuds and these by far are my favorite. There is one drawback that I have experienced. On these earbuds my inner ear was getting sore after a couple of hours of wearing them. It's taking me a couple of weeks for my ears to get adjusted. Now I wear them all day 12 hours a day. ... show more

READ - SIGNIFICANT SOFTWARE ISSUES
Color: Black
EDITED: READ PART 2 They would be great, if not for the SIGNIFICANT CHARGING SOFTWARE ISSUES. They sound amazing, great bass, so comfortable I can wear then literally my whole awake day, and they last throughout the whole day too, if I keep the volume to reasonable levels I get like 14 hrs on a charge typically. Although here is the SIGNIFICANT ISSUE, the software is horrible. Whenever I put them in the charging case they genuinely don't realize they're in the case. I sometimes try taking them back out and putting them back in but it doesn't work, they never automatically disconnect from whatever device I'm using. They used to when I had first purchased them, but after only a month or two of use this is no longer the case. As a result whenever I wanna switch back to the default speakers on the device I have to change it manually. Now I suppose this isn't that big of an issue if it wasn't for the fact that the issue causing this results in the headphones automatically reconnecting to whatever device I'm using without warning and taking over audio while they're sitting inside of the case. So sometimes I have to change the audio output manually back to the speakers or audio output alternative I was using 1-5 times depending on how finicky the headphones are feeling that day. Another issue is that it'll randomly pause and unpause audio input, usually not unpausing, and I assume that this is caused by the say software issue that results in the two other issues I experience, just vise versa. TLDR: Software is extremely buggy, caused consistent unavoidable (happens to all devices I own) inconveniences that result in a rough and unfriendly user experience. PART 2: Warranty claim approved in 2 minutes, received brand new replacement in 2 days. The customer support was absolutely excellent, they approved my warranty claim 2 minutes after receiving my claim, and shipped my replacement very fast. So far I have had 0 of the previously mentioned issues with the new unit. I will update my review if that changes. ... show more
