As a seasoned equestrian and trainer, I can tell you that finding wide footed paddock boots for kids is a huge pain. As a parent to a toddler boy who is getting started in riding, it becomes nightmarish trying to find boots that fit. This industry doesn't exactly cater to young boys fit wise, on the English side of the house atleast. Finally, I found a boot soft enough and JUST wide enough to compensate. These boots are beautiful!!! The look and feel of real leather, but keeping animal welfare in mind. I wish I had found these prior to purchasing our pricey Ariat boots. We try to purchase synthetic material over leather with any product we can. My son LOVES his new boots and says they’re comfortable. I recommend sizing up since boots tend to run on the snug side. My son wears a 1, and the 2 are a perfect fit (with just enough growing room). We will definitely be purchasing Moretta products from now on. ... show more

I needed an affordable riding boot and these bring both comfort and style within a reasonable price range. I have only ridden in them once but they seem well-made and are relatively comfortable. They are just a bit stiff around the ankles but I feel that will decrease the more they are worn. The arch and overall foot support are great! They fit a bit wider than the average shoe which is fine with me as it provides space to wear thicker socks during cooler weather. I want to add that there was confusion about whether the listing was for women's or children's boots as once the product was in my cart, it said child.
