They always hurt my back, my ribs, etc. Also I'm petite and can never find a corset small enough. But THIS corset... I can finally say that I have a corset that fits me!!! I'm thrilled. I can lace it up nice and tight without feeling like I'm injuring myself, the bust area isn't way too loose (for once), and it actually gives a very nice, elegant shape. Definitely worth the money and I was surprised how nice it is for the price. My only complaint is that the busk (front closure) is a little difficult to fasten because of the flat hardware design. But for the price it's pretty good. Also, obviously, you don't want the hooks creating a visible ridge if you wear it under something, so I get that. I am tall and thin with a natural large chest. Man this thing does not cover or sit high enough for that. The top is for very small chests. The waist I could not get small enough. I need to be able to squeeze it small in the torso and leave room at the top. BUT OVERALL A GREAT DEAL AND VERY STURDY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR DIFFERENT BODY TYPES THAN MINE. It is nice and long which is good. my personal body type is hard to dress. this would look perfect on most other types. I would not try to use this as a real waist cincher if you are heavy. I'm 5' 7" 190lbs 36D and I got an XL, and it....sorta fit. I certainly wouldn't have gone up or down a size, but there just wasn't enough space in the bra area. It was either squishing me flat with armpit bulges, or just not doing anything and giving me a weird shape. Seems like there might be a sweet spot of bra sizes that this would work for, but I'm not it. I think it’s a pretty good quality corset for the price! I love the pink color too. My biggest complaint is the boob area seems a bit large for the size I bought. It’s not super flattering there. For reference, I’m 5’4” 112 lbs, size 34B and I got the xsmall.
