Item is great, as described and very nicely constructed. I have a 40’ Shipping Container that I need to get the front off the ground. Even with it sitting basically on the ground I was still able to get this in place. You first have to turn it sideways and insert the lug into the vertical slot in the container. Then rotate it upright to lock it in place. If like me yours is sitting on the ground you will need a shorter Bottle Jack for clearance. It would be ideal to have 2 of these and bring everything up evenly but it is no problem with just the one. Just takes a bit of side to side maneuvering. I would suggest just taking it slowly and move each side a few inches at the time as to not create any binding of the container. All in all very pleased with it and I feel the asking price is great. It is much safer using this item rather than just a Bottle Jack and some sort of rigging. 5🌟’s ... show more

Great tool, the pictures are very accurate. This is very robust, the seams are welded inside and out. I believe without a doubt that its 50,000 lbs rating is accurate. But my jack rated for 60,000 lbs is too big to fit inside the tool. :) I guess I need a smaller jack, though I may find it difficult to find a narrow 25 ton jack. All in all a great acquisition, it has a nice carry handle also. The tool has a very thick coat of powder coat, not like it won’t be scratched the first time I use it. Has an instruction manual but you really shouldn’t need it. The tool is pretty intuitive and self explanatory. To be safe and to successfully lift your container, make sure you have a solid surface under your jack. Plus empty containers are fairly lightweight so you could use a smaller 2 or 3 ton jack if your container is empty. ... show more

This jack is designed to attach to the corner casting on shipping containers which use a twistlock. These jacks only work with the larger shipping containers because I also have a smaller 10ft container and the twistlock holes are too small for this jack to fit into.
