I will put a level on the floor to verify the correct amount of lift. I lift the floor with a hydraulic jack and only use these supports after I get the lift correct. A bit short for my liking/needs, but I was easily able to attach some 4x4s. So far, four of them have been supporting my deck without issue for the last few months. I hope to have my deck repaired soon, but if not, I have little doubt these supports (with the addition of some 4x4x) will keep things safe through the winter. ... show more

I am so excited to find these on Amazon. They are easy to use and do the job. A technician recommended I put some support under the floor in my laundry room to help my washer stay balanced. He suspected the floor was moving enough to cause a problem. These worked.
