Works great on my 125 year old farmhouse. I put the jacks on 8x8x16 solid concrete blocks. The jacks hold up some added CCA beams. I will put a level on the floor to verify the correct amount of lift. I lift the floor with a hydraulic jack and only use these supports after I get the lift correct. Highly recommend these! We got these for our basement to adjust some flooring. They are easy to use, easy to install. They do not weigh a ton either. Definitely recommend this and worth the money

These work well. Only reason I'm given only 4 stars due to the problematic problem of keeping the jack together while trying to lime it up, the bottom and top plate keep moving out of position while trying to align the jack up and keep it level. Quiet the task keeping everything together, the top plate always falling off, takes 2 people to set these up. Other than that these work great. ... show more
