Easy to assemble. It took my husband (his power drill) and me about 1hr and a half to assemble. The drop leaf table has a pull out bar underneath in the center to keep it in place. This is a great value for the money. Very clean lines and SUPER EASY ASSEMBLY! I love the versatility of Shelves vs drawers. The one drawer is really a perfect size and depth. I am thinking of ordering a second one.

It’s really nice for our small kitchen space. Easy to put together just took time. I ended up using an electric drill because there’s a lot of screws and it would have taken me forever to do everything with the small screwdriver provided. Trust the instructions. At a certain point it feels like shelves are not aligned, but trust the process, they will align. I wish the casters were rubber, it would glide better. I chose to not install the paper towel holder although it was provided. There was a little damage to one of the panels but I just flipped it to the other side and there was damage to the front door unfortunately. 2 small nicks in the front cabinet panel that I will fill in with paint if it really bothers me. The unit feels flimsy when it’s empty. It moves better with stuff in it. I added some felt pads to the unit to keep the leaf from scratching the back of the island when it’s flipped down. I provided picture of the metal part that keeps it up since the product images don’t provide one. Hope this review answers some questions. Buy it. It’s pretty nice! ... show more

This island is awesome. I was looking for something that can add a bit more storage to my new apartment, was a good price with good quality. It was easy to put together, it was just me so it took a couple hours with a few breaks in there to build but the instructions were easy to follow.     • Once assembled, it does what I need

This table/work station provides ample space for an air fryer and a rice cooker, but assembling it, especially on my own, was irritating hard work. The main problem was the so-called barrel bolts which essentially require that the user mesh a bolt that moves freely and a screw without being able to see the bolt or the end of the screw that is supposed to fit into the bolt. In the two instances when I succeeded, each required 15 nasty minutes. At that point I realized that a quarter inch dowel with thick glue would do the job, so I found bamboo dowels (very strong) on Amazon and used a sticky wood glue that helps to hold the dowels in place. The remaining joints were fitted in a few minutes not counting drying time. The other assembly problem was the top which attaches with five or six screws. Doing this without assistance is very difficult because all the screws must fit in the holes in the top and the top is quite large and heavy and it is difficult to see all the screws at once. I managed it while mashing my index finger, but it would have been much easier and less painful with someone to help. Barrel bolts should be banned by the Geneva Convention. Once assembled this thing looks just the way it does on Amazon. It is quite attractive and functional. Also, the instructions were clear. ... show more

Uncomplicated assembly. It took 1 1/2 hours to complete. ( I gathered pieces and fittings for next step while younger helper sat on floor to assemble). Really nice counter top and drop leaf lets it fit well in middle of kitchen. Extra storage is always a plus.

Very sturdy & works nicely for extra counter space & storage. Was a bit of a pain to put together, but took maybe an hour & a half. I was surprised at how well made it is. The magnet for the door is a tad far back (we put it where the drill holes were), so it doesn't actually magnetically close, but we haven't have any issues with it opening on its own. Be aware when you are first putting it together, the middle shelves & the one side of shelves are off set, so if it looks crooked... you put it on backwards. My husband did that at first & we were confused for a few minutes. Take it apart & put the shelves on the other side, it does work & it's not crooked lol. ... show more
