I absolutely recommend this rolling kitchen Island. It was very easy to assemble and very sturdy. I have a island in my kitchen but this extra countertop is more convenient. We got one of these to try to make our tiny kitchen somewhat more functional; it does the job well. I like that it folds out into a larger surface so we can have a makeshift eating or prepping area. We also bought a pair of little folding stools to use with it. The storage is good and the drawers slide well enough. I docked a star because the wheels do not roll particularly well and the "wood" material does feel somewhat fragile, but for the quality at this price, it has been a solid item. Easy to assemble. It took my husband (his power drill) and me about 1hr and a half to assemble. The drop leaf table has a pull out bar underneath in the center to keep it in place. It looks sturdy, but definitely wouldn't put heavy items on it. The table top is sleek and easy to clean, it doesn't look like it will scratch easily. Small drawers but deep for storage. The media could not be loaded. It’s a decent solution for additional storage in my tiny kitchen, however, it does wobble. I assembled it by myself in about three hours. Thankfully, it came with all the hardware and a few additional screws and bolts. Just a warning, the box it comes in is very heavy. I’m a medium-size female and UPS left it at the bottom of my deck stairs and it was too heavy to maneuver up the stairs by myself so I had no choice but to open the box and carry pieces inside, a little at a time. As other reviews have mentioned, the top butcher block piece is heavy and hard to put on top by oneself, but I managed to do it. It was easy to put together, it was just me so it took a couple hours with a few breaks in there to build but the instructions were easy to follow. This handy kitchen island table is just what I need for my small kitchen in my condo home. It takes over a dining table that I was really going to get for my kitchen, but instead I would rather have a dining table in my living room. I will mainly use this to dine in the kitchen and a great assist for all my kitchen needs whether I am cooking, cleaning, and or doing chores. All that is left needed is a bar chair to complete it and a great dine in with a handy folding leaf for extended table tops space for 2 people at max! It’s stylish design can fit in any kitchen and plus it suits up nicely with my Japanese interior design theme of my condo home. The assembly took at least about 4 hours to get everything set up, but rewarding enough once you have completed it.
