I got to admit, I was quite skeptical upon receiving this juicer as i had been using a large centrifugal juicer that was fast and I felt that I didn't get as much juice out of the Shine. However, the reason I purchased it was because I am traveling weekly (by car) for the next 3 years and wanted a compact juicer to bring with me. Now that I have been using it for nearly a month, I am in love with it. First of all it is simple to use if you follow the instructions. I have no problem putting it together & taking it apart to clean. (Just make sure you remember to replace the plug from the pulp chute on the bottom before trying to put it together. ) There are only 3 pieces to clean. I have yet to need either of the included cleaning brushes or the scraper thing to dislodge stuck food. All in all it is better than the centrifugal juicer I was using that constantly had to be stopped to clean the mesh screen from caked & dried fibrous fruits and veggies. The only reason I stop the Shine is to empty the pulp cup which has much drier pulp than the centrifugal juicer. I really don't anticipate any mechanical issues as there are no blades to dull or fine mesh screens to get clogged up. Oh yeah & it is much quieter than my other juicer as well. The other juicer I had the pulp was wet and it was difficult to dry out the pulp to use for recipes because it was to wet. Bought this one and I love it. Yes you have to cut your fruits to fit but for the price it's worth it.

This was a for a short trip. Doesn't juice as well as I expected due to many reviews by others. Pulp discharge clogs up easy with celery. Watermelon pulp is too wet. This juice exceeded all of my expectations 100%. There were so many different juicers out there and when I came across this one the price scared me. It's so affordable compared to bigger and more elaborate juicers that I was hesitant on whether or not it would get the job done. Surprisingly this baby juices whole fruit like a pro. I am new in my juicing journey and with this juicers help I have fallen in love with everything about juicing. From the ease of creating so many different flavors to watching it do its Thang. I look forward to using my juicer just to watch it work. It may be small but packs a good punch and is super easy to clean. I love the. We really did our research on these - watched the YouTube videos to see how each one actually worked and settled on this one. We really wanted to love it but it’s flawed. The rinds get stuck so you have to stop and clear it out, which then requires you to clean the whole machine again to get back setup. The juice still has a lot of pulp in it so you will have to strain it separately - at least once. I must say - It is very quiet, and setup and clean up were super easy, which is why I gave it 3 stars. Overall it works, but for the price tag they need to improve on performance. ... show more
