This chair is so comfortable. Did have one of the back slats crack, perhaps I over, tightened it, but it was easy to fill with wood glue. The chair back and the seat are already put together, so that saves a lot of time as you attach them to the legs. But I might’ve over tightened when I was attaching them to the arms and legs. Easy to put together and I think I will add an extra support bar near the bottom. But for the price you can’t go wrong. ... show more

I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse as a return for half price! I love it! It came in the original packaging and had all the parts. I put it together within 30 minutes and then stained it. It was pretty sturdy but it only holds up to 250 pounds. I have extremely large Hawaiian boys that are rough on my furniture so I shored it up with some cut 2x4s along the bottom and it is extremely sturdy now and my son who is 6’8” and 350 pounds doesn’t make it feel like it is going to collapse! This is definitely a great buy. I will definitely buy some more at full price for my outside patio! Now to make or buy pillow cushions for it! ... show more

Upon arrival, the boxes seemed small. Directions seemed easy enough to assemble. The holes for the screws did not line up, even after following directions to not tighten until the end. I thought the price seemed good for what we were getting and the other reviews I read. We ended u giving up on assembly of the first chair after 2 hours and haven't attempted the second one. The chair didn't seem like it would be the sturdiest after it was completed anyway. ... show more

Overall these are nice chairs for the money---I got two, plus the side table, and they make a good-looking set. On one of the chairs, however, one of the rocker pieces cracked. As we examined it, there was a knot inside that caused the piece to be weaker than desired. I'd had the chairs a couple months and not had any issues at all prior to that. If I can get the company to send me just the rocker piece I can fix it. ... show more

Medium grade lumber, rough surface and many knots. Challenging assembly; moderate manipulation, and minor modification required to complete the process. Bolts provided to attach arms of chair to the frame are too short. I had to go the hardware store to purchase appropriate size bolts. Backrest and seat are already assembled which is a plus. 2 hour assembly time. Chair creaks a bit when you rock in it. Overall, reasonably decent end product. This chair was not difficult to assemble but it does take some know-how. I was able to assemble this myself. It is good material that, in my opinion, did not need weather proofing. It looks nice and is a comfortable rocking chair. I am not giving it 5 stars because the tolerance between the pieces is a little too much resulting in the chair "giving" just a little bit when you rock in it. ... show more
