  • so happy i bout this
Pattern Name: 12-25 sprockets
i wore out my casette and I didn't know what to do, I was reluctant to give a LBS $300 to swap out a part. So i got this casette, a new chain, and a $20 bike tool kit and ended up replacing it myself for aobut $90 in total costs. IT works good as new. I would highly suggest that other riders take some personal ownership of their rides and do a little maintenece on their own. ... show more

  • Perfect Replacement Cassette for New Wheel
Pattern Name: 12-25 sprockets
After a few years of being ignored, my 2006 Trek 1200 is finally getting some upgrade love that it so richly deserves. One of the first upgrades was a set of Shimano Dura-Ace C24 wheels. Instead of reusing the cassette already attached to the hub of the existing Alexrim rear wheel I found this Shimano 9 speed cassette and ordered it. The 1200 uses a Shimano 105 rear derailleur so it shifts like butter. Not expensive butter but at least really good margarine, slightly above cooking grade, possibly set on the table and use with a decent croissant grade. But I digress. This 9 speed cassette is now firmly attached to the rear DA wheel on my 1200. The bike is faster and the gear changes are silky good enough for movie theater popcorn butter smooth. Because this cassette works perfectly and fits like a glove. If you are here and reading this you're probably looking for a 9 speed and in a lather about Tiagra vs 105 vs Ultegra vs Dura-Ace. Save your lather for something more worthwhile, the money you save by buying this cassette can be applied to a wheel upgrade - something that truly saves some weight and makes a noticeable difference in bike performance. Buy. It. Now. ... show more
