I ride a 2021 Spec Diverge with the GRX 2x group, and as such, it came with the truly fantastic L03A pads...which were discontinued without my EXPRESS PERMISSION! (ahem...) I am pleased to say these are a worthy upgrade, are absolutely silent, and provide truly smooth and easy-to-modulate breaking power right out of the box. They fit the GRX slots perfectly. Great breaking has returned! The old pads still had life, but these new pads were noticeably better at first hard stop. Easy to swap, piece of mind is great.

I originally purchased a knockoff brand by a company called hammerhead along with genuine Shimano altegra 160 mm rotors for my road bike those brake pads squealed like a banshee no matter what I did I couldn't stop the front one from squealing so I returned them. Like almost everything Shimano there fit and work great. The resin brake pads seem to be less noisy.

    • Great pads, but can they finally fix the HONKING!?!?
Installs easily (not counting the truaxle) and does stop when you squeeze the lever, provided there is enough brake fluid, or the cable is tight. But THE HONKING!! Can we talk about the honking? The squeals, the honking, the grinding noises. Disc brakes are great, don't get me wrong, but the whole issue of 'contamination', and the way that brand new rotors and pads can squeak, squeal, honk, at the end of the first ride. ARRRRRGG!! But it give me experience working on my bike, and finding other things that need to be addressed. Still: Disc Brakes Are The Best Brakes for a bike. They laugh at rain. I wouldn't (couldn't) go back.
