Description

Spinning reels, which are heavily used in various fields to catch a wide range of target fish, are required to be tough and have full basic performance. The Sahara, loved by many anglers for its affordable price for beginners and satisfactory specifications for experienced anglers, has been redesigned to further improve its performance. For the first time, it is equipped with Silent Drive, which eliminates rattling and minute noises transmitted to the hand during rotation. The sensitivity during reeling, which is required for lure fishing, has been greatly improved. The synergistic effect of the screw- in handle, which is also a first for this model, will give you excellent sensitivity and a stress-free reeling feel. This is a fully-equipped unit that allows anglers to experience a higher grade of actual fishing performance.

    • Great product!
The more money you spend the better the product and that's true in this case. I took this fishing on my vacation and this reel work liked a charm. It has smooth action and is quiet. I didn't catch any fish but had a blast fishing. This is a great product.

    • Excellent reel.
Review Image by Travis
Absolutely amazing reel. I have fished with a few other brands of reels and this one is my absolute favorite for ultralight fishing. You can really dial in the drag and the shallow spool allows you to cast very far with light line. Recently spooled up with 5lb phenix ironfeather and the casting distance is insane with a 1/80th oz jig. I have had one of these for well over 2 years now and it started to feel a little gritty. Added some oil and now its good as new. ... show more

    • The latest model Sahara upgrades sold me
The screw in handle and silent drive are huge upgrades that makes a good reel at a moderate price a real great deal. I use my 1000 series for ultralight fishing and a companion spinning outfit to a Daiwa Legalis 2000 LT. I have several fishing trips using this reel and it performs flawless- exceeds my expectations...love the smooth, precise drag when larger fish than my target species invariably strike my lure. I have nothing negative to say about this reel...PS...I am a life long angler of 77 years, so this is one of fifty to a hundred reels I have owned and used...not a novice... ... show more
