I've been trying to desensitize my dog to the blow dryer and decided it would be easier to do it at home. He used to be great for the whole grooming process, but after going to PetSmart groomers a few times, he's become reactive toward the blow dryer. It's not too loud and small enough to store under the sink between bath times. I did notice that the hose gets a little hot if the heat is on for a few minutes, but the air coming out of the end isn't too hot. I really love this dryer I thought it was going to be bigger but I enjoy the size as it doesn’t take much space up. It helps dry all 4 of my large dogs and having three that are double coats it makes me never want to dry with a towel again.

This works and it is all I care about! I should have desensitized my rescue Maltipoo before turning it on to dry him but...the doggy blower and my pooch made up, afterward. As an owner of a double coated dog, one of the things I’ve accepted is that life is covered in hair. This is especially so during bath time. Rather than take forever to dry the pup, this high velocity dryer does the job pretty well. It’s loud and blows the hair everywhere, but it dries the pup fairly quickly so we can end the bath ordeal. This product comes with three nozzles, but I’ve only really needed to use one of them. The warm air function is nice too—it blows some warm air without me having to worry if it’s too hot on my pup’s skin. This is definitely one of the best dog supplies I have purchased. ... show more
