Nest 3rd gen install. No sign of life. Would not take charge even. Red light on Nest just kept blinking several hours. Thermostat would not boot up. Removed and put original battery back in. Half the day wasted. I’ll be returning this battery for refund. Exploring plan B. *****IMPORTANT EDIT: Yesterday I gave this battery a one star review and planned to make a return. Although the battery connector installed with an audible snap it apparently wasn't seated properly. This is a very tiny connector. Today I made one last install try before returning this battery and low and behold it is now working like a champ. Replacing the battery in the Nest thermostat 3rd generation is not rocket science but calls for a steady hand and the few Youtube videos out there on the topic. ... show more

It did not fit in note3. I thought its battery that can be used in samsung note3 but it was very thick.almost double of what the actual size it so i returned it.

Connector broke immediately during installation despite only gentle pressure. I have significant experience repairing electronic devices similar to this process and have never experienced this kind of break/failure.
