I like how this scratcher looks. We have a cream-colored cloud couch we love, and we didn't want the scratcher to take away from how it looks. This one looks pretty attractive on our couch! Our cat loves to scratch it and is pretty aggressive when she does, and I'm surprised that the scratcher doesn't fall over! (it's just fallen over one time). You could always attach it to your couch with velcro if you find your cat yanking it off your couch more often. ... show more

While esthetically pleasing, once your cat tries to use the scratch pad it just falls over. The base isn’t heavy enough to keep the product upright when they scratch anywhere above 2 inches, it just tumbles down. This is pretty much decor. Don’t waste your money. My cats don’t use it but I keep it on the corner of the couch anyway and it keeps them away. I think some cats like cardboard, some sisal or rope, some cloth.
