  • Don’t expect to use it AS IS. But for the price it’s enough
Pretty simple to set up. I did it by myself, then carried it outside. The wire shelves are super flimsy, if you have small plants in light plastic pots then you won’t need to worry. But if your like me and most your plants are in pretty stone glazed pots your gonna need to reinforce the shelves. I used zip ties and some thin sheets of wood as just one of my medium sized pots weighted too much for the wire shelf by itself. Some of the shelves are still questionable but I’m just hoping all my plants live through the Texas winter that came super early this year. It was shipped in its box and the world could tell exactly what it was which I’m not a fan of since people tend to steal packages this time of year. The plastic material used I don’t think will last a season in direct sunlight. Not a problem for me though as I placed it in a place it will one get the direct sun from the sunset so it should last me a couple years. It’s also nice that it can be disassembled just as easy as it was assembled. The only other thing that could be changed is the length of the ties, they’re a bit short a couple more inches would make them easier to tie. I’ll update the review if the green house doesn’t hold up to a realistic expectation. ... show more

  • Needs to Be Anchored
Very easy to assemble and light weight. Was able to assemble it inside the house and move out outside without assistance. Unfortunately, the shelves are flimsy and the kit doesn’t include anchors. So, my greenhouse has tipped over a couple of times. Just so happens I don’t have many plants in there but the pots I do have were also knocked over during both incidents. I have attempted to double anchor to give more support and stability. Not sure how long this structure will last in my area under winter weather conditions. ... show more

  • Great little seeding house
This was perfect for inside my craft shed! It’s small enough to not take up too much space. I have all my seeds already sprouting, but they cant be planted outside until April.

  • Flimsy but I think it will work
I bought this to overwinter selected plants. I put it on a sheltered porch, up against the house so it will be somewhat protected from wind. Otherwise, I would worry that it would blow over and/or come apart. The poles just slide together without any other fastener so it comes apart if you try to move it. The shelves are really flimsy - but so far they are holding pots just fine. I do think it will work fine - just be aware that it has it's limitations. It's pretty fragile. ... show more

  • Great for Indoor Starters and so much more
Size: 23" x 17" x 57"
I've owned/used variations of this type of greenhouse over the years. Used both indoor and out, they're a great way to start seeds, control plant humidity, and keep most pests and pets away from the seedlings. There are a couple of drawbacks, but I'll get to those after I review the rated features. Easy to Assemble: Absolutely. Whether you're purchasing a small one for seed starters or the larger walk-in style, it's a simple and reliable design. For some users (like me) that prefer to secure the shelfs (the assembly design just has them floating across the support arms, using plants to hold them down) it's easy to do so with small zip ties or even twist ties. Sturdiness: Moderate. The pieces aren't interlocking, and can easily separate from each other during assembly as well as in high winds if it's not secured somehow. The units are incredibly light, and if kept outdoors can easily be blown around by higher winds. Easy to counter with bags of soil or tent stakes, but very necessary. Stability: The larger units are very stable, but that's by design. The small units do require a little help. For the one we recently purchased, I placed a bag of unopened soil on the bottom shelf. We keep it on a screened in porch, so with high winds (which are frequent here) it wouldn't blow over and ruin our recent sprouts. Not a rated feature BUT: Coupled with a generic seed starter (dried peat moss/loose soil in small 1.25 cups) the seeds went from unplanted to sprouts in less than a week. Having used this style of greenhouse over the last decade almost every year, I recommend it for everyone. Drawbacks: While you can replace just the plastic cover, they are relatively fragile, especially if you use it outdoors. You will have to replace it. If you simply purchase an entire new greenhouse (which isn't a horrible idea as these are very cost effective) you can use the old frame as a trellis for vine type plants. The ties (used to secure the cover to the frame) are a little awkward to install, but they do keep the cover on. Again, if kept outdoors, they will break after about a year of use. The only other draw back is the zippers. Repeated access will wear them out rather rapidly, but you can combat that by keeping them lightly oiled with simple oils found around the kitchen. ... show more

  • Spacious but wired shelves aren’t too strong.
This product was easy to install. The wire shelves hold my one Serrano plant but it is bending so I don’t think they’ll last too long. I’ve had it for a month and the smell of plastic is still pretty strong.

  • Top heavy
Need to btrace the bottom due to the shelving being top heavy.

  • Needs to be anchored
Assembles fast and can store a lot. weighs almost nothing, so the first breeze will tip it over. If it came with attachment points for anchoring, I would feel much happier about this product, but it does the job and I feel off to a good start with my gardening.
