IMO, this guide is not on par with over guidebooks published in the last 5 years. The Good: -New routes included -Updated information on which routes have been re-equipped -Includes info on first ascentionist The Bad: -Topo for some areas reads Right to Left, and some areas read Left to Right. Very confusing to follow cliff line page to page -Pictures often appear on a different page from the routes they show. Confusing. -Larger areas (ex. The Bank) not labeled by subsection (ex. 2150 Wall) at top of page. Tedious to flip through. -No index of routes by grade and stars/quality -Many pictures are blurry, making it difficult to distinguish routes. ... show more

    • Comprehensive guidebook with many errors that need correcting
I agreed with Ryan’s review but add to that that there are many errors in the guide that need correcting including incorrect topos, numbers of bolts on routes and the maps to trails are either out of date or just wrong. Many areas in the Bank for example have no description for the approach whatsoever including on the overview map. Thankfully the area is actually well signed and with mountain project and some good sense it got me through. ... show more
