My order was shipped on September 19 and it arrived fourteen days later. What could have been a two star experience turned out to be FIVE STARS thanks to Akram of Sheetsnthings. He was on UPS at every turn and offered to adjust the shipping charge and discount the merchandise because of the shipping hiccup. I could have been very grumpy. In the end I was more than satisfied. The sheets and duvet cover are the color pictured, wash up nicely, fit well and have a comfortable feel to them. PROS : Package arrived very well secured and obviously brand new. Color was exactly as indicated. The KING size fit perfectly on the bed. CONS: extremely thin (nearly translucent for the off-white ones), a VERY intense plastic smell (probably from the packaging which did was out) and at first I mistakenly thought we didn't receive the SHAMS - my error, we DID - but when I contacted the seller they never replied. I'm OK with this but next time would buy something a little higher quality I guess. Value for money: Meh. Just ok. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this set. The color is very elegant and the stripes a bit brighter and shiny. I washed the sheets in cold water and dried / low heat. They came out almost without wrinkles. After my first night using them I can say they are also very cozy, do not add much weight and are very breathable. I used the duvet cover to get my lambs wool blanket in it. Altogether this is a very elegant set and I am sure I will enjoy it for many years to come. I thought the price was good also. I would have given this set 5 stars. But they sent me full/queen duvet cover although I specifically ordered full. Full/queen is much too big for my full size down comforter. I decided to keep it and alter it because the color is perfect and the fabric and workmanship are good value for reasonable cost. It takes time to find the perfect set for your cal king bed as there are always limited quality sheets and coverings for this size bedding. I was enlighten when I saw this set especially since it came with 7 pieces. WOW I said I am getting an amazing deal the price was perfect. I received my set before the HOLIDAY as I was hoping for. It is beautiful so soft and the stripes are so precise. The sheets are amazing a snug fit just as I like to maintain it wrinkle free the duvet cover is amazing. I took a chance to see if Microfiber works for me and it sure does.
