This personal alarm is easy to use. It's loud and annoying. I don't know how effective it might actually be at deterring an attacker, but it gives my daughter some peace of mind. She'd rather carry pepper spray, but that's not allowed at her school. So this is an alternative for a wearable personal safety device.

This is very sensitive. I had two. One was quiet and the second, loud. They pull and go off without trying to set it off . It went off when I hung my purse up. Even with the pin still in but pulled out a little. I was in a public place. Lots of attention. It is still going off and can't stop it. It has been 1 hour and forty five minutes. Not a n good experience since I was not in danger and can't turn it off.

This is my second birdie I purchase. My first one lasted me 5 years before it broke (my accident! Not the products fault). When used it is very loud and the flashing light is bright. It’s small so it fits perfect on your keychain.

This is my second birdie alarm. The first one I bought when the company first came out. This is a woman owned company which I support. The alarm is loud which I have used on one occasion when a male stranger came up to me while I was unlocking my car After working a late night shift. That made him change his mind. Now I have one on my keychain and I take it with me when I go out or I exercise outside at night.

What a great safety device. Pull the top, and it screeches while a strobe light attracts even more attention. She's Birdie has an elegant carabiner that easily attaches to purses or backpacks and is easy to remove at the airport - YES, it's TSA approved. Battery life is great. I've made two flights and the device looks like it's right out of the box. Very durable. I feel far safer when I travel now with She's Birdie.

You can not go wrong buying a product to keep yourself or loved one safe! I purchased this for my 16 year old daughter. It is easy to use in case of an emergency and small amount enough to carry along. The battery life is good and the quality for the price is worth it.
