I've used both this glaze and the edge control and it can have a white overlay but to avoid that I put an oil on my hair first and layered this in and set it with a scarf. It came out beautifully! This product doesn't get a satisfactory from me.. it goes in clear but produces a white milky overlay on the hair... I do have a couple of white hair but this product is a no for me.... if tou want to use it use a small amount I guess.. but with my 4c hair I need a generous amount to really get the silky pickup I'm looking for... so it's no for me! The media could not be loaded. I have thick and coarse 4c hair and it can be difficult to find a gel that will slick you and not turn into oil while I’m braiding. This gel not only slicked my hair but it stay slick . It made parting easy and it helped tuck my hair
