got a single shashibo for Christmas, bought this for myself for fun. there are several "play modes" - but for the most part, I'm just enjoying having two matching shashibos (for the price you'd get a two pack normally), plus all the bonuses of the cards indicating new shapes and difficulty levels each card has a QR code to show you how to make it if you're stuck thinking of buying a second one of these so I can set up a 4 person game.
