I received the product in an ok amount of time. There didn't seem to be any damage which is good and each marker is wrapped individually. I have currently only opened one of the three markers, however it has not caused any reason for concern. Like every other sharpie marker I have purchased and used you have to "prime" it before each use and certainly before the first use. This means shaking your marker like you would a can of spray paint, and again the first time you use it your going to have to shake for a bit longer. In between shaking you will notice the color slowly filling the once white tip. You can take your marker and on a scrap piece of paper glen fly push down to see if any paint comes out. Once it is filled you should have no issues. You will have to shake your marker again periodically depending on how long your using it. Always put the cap back on when shaking to avoid making a mess. It's also a good idea to keep a scrap paper to blot your marker before using it on your project; there will be excess paint and this will avoid big blotches spilling out. One last note this is not as small as a "normal" ultra fine point sharpie marker. The tip is closer to the size of a a brand new sharpie fine point marker, which is still much smaller than the medium point sharpie paint marker. Overall the product worked fairly well (although I wish I could've found extra fine tip in oil based black it would've worked better for my project) and when I eventually use up all 3, I'll be getting new ones. I can't really complain about the price; I paid just under $9 for all 3 and free shipping which took 11 days from when it was ordered. If I could be lucky enough to find them in a local store I'd pay a minimum of $13 for 3 and if ordered online from Michaels, hobby lobby etc.... Your paying $13 plus $7+ for shipping without a discount.

My main reason for buying these was to use them to write on galvanized steel (zinc-coated) plant markers in my flower and vegetable gardens. They work extremely well for that. The paint is holding up very well, and since these have fine points, they create nice legible, not-too-thick and non-smeary writing. I've also used them on a garage sale sign and on wood; and intend to use them on glass also (one of Sharpie's suggested uses). Since it's actually paint, I don't see why it couldn't be used for touch-ups on black paintable items that might need that. There's a little ball (presumably a ball) inside each pen -- rather like the balls inside spray-paint cans -- that you can hear and feel when you shake the pen briefly to get ready to use it. Once you do that, and after you've primed the pen the first time (by repeatedly pushing in the tip against a surface to get the paint to come down to the tip) the paint pen "writes" very well. Using a paint pen works far better in many applications than does paint in small glass bottles with touch-up style brushes attached to the cap.

Best paint pens I’ve ever used. I’ve been using this to outline my paintings for the past 3 months. It glides smoothly and has so much pigment. If dried fully, it will not smudge using the liquitex high gloss varnish. I will say tho that the tip of the pen does get somewhat flat and loses its point. And you will have to write on another surface to activate the pen again. But it still works for me. These pens will always be my go to. In fact I’m here writing a review because I am going to purchase it again. Thank you seller!

I have black painted rims on my car. Unfortunately they have a little road rash. This pen works perfect to cover up the rash. The rash is not bad enough to have them refinished, so the pen fits the need. I have to color in the rash about every 2 washes.

Needed something that would work on plastic better than a regular Sharpie would, and these did the trick! Great for adding black coloring to my 3D prints. Very happy with these and will definitely buy more when needed!
