Purchased for my 12 year old son. He has had other drones and remote flying toys that were hard to use. Propellers would break after first use. After seeing a demo in the toy store we bought one. We encouraged him to start slow and learn it step by step. He first worked on lifting up and hovering. He had multiple drops from 6’ in the air and no damage was caused. About the primitive boys and their balls 6 years old and 8 year olds and it was way too hard for them to run. Hello was hard for me to run. And you sure couldn't play with it and because the one time that idea and I had to run out for it and I lost it about 250yards away. I chased it down and found it. This was a gift for my daughter's birthday. After a few days of practice, she was able to fly it in and out of tight spaces like a pro. It was so much fun I bought one for myself so we could spend time flying together. The only reason it didn't get more stars from me was because after about a week hers stopped taking a charge. This is a pretty cool drone. It seems durable enough. My only hang up is the exposed propellers that are quite painful if they hit you, but it’s manageable.
