Will sharpen your knife/scissors just know if you don't hold it properly I found it left a line on my knife blades that's why this sharpener only gets 4 stars but definitely sharpens a blade for sure.

At $14.99, this seems a tad expensive for non-electric, but it works great. And it's easy to use. I say 4 for suction power because it does loosen after 4 or 5 implements, but easy enough to reset. I did 2 scissors and 2 straight kitchen knives and 1 serrated bread knife before it needed to be re-suctioned. And all have never been so sharp since they were new -- which has been a good many years. One pair of scissors, in fact, is probably 40 years old. I'd like the instructions in English to be a bit larger to read, but then everything in this little box would be perfect. This sharpener is especially good if space is small. This IMHO is a must have to keep your knives sharp. Its easy to use, keeps it fairly safe but could have been safer. I’ve only used one of the three given sharpeners and honestly thats all you’d ever use. Its built with good quality sturdy plastic and has a good suction rubber at the bottom to keep it in place when you sharpen your knives. Pros: small, easy to use and gets the job done. Cons: could have been designed to make it more self guided for sharpenning correctly, you could only only get one angle of sharpening and that is often too easy to wear out. ... show more

Once it suctions it's hard to move. you have to kind of slide it to the to the side,instead of moving it forward you got to move it sideways.and it's very hard to take off the counter, if that's where you put it. so just be very careful wherever you put it, cuz it's almost like it's never going to come off of there LOL. I don't even put mine on the counter, I just put it on a towel or something but I do use it. I love it.all my friends love it and it's sharpens everything, your knives. your scissors. it works very very good. so if you do choose to put us somewhere, just know that it's probably going to stay there forever lol. ... show more

This small hand/palm sized knife sharpener works very well for use at home. The bottom suction cup holds the sharpener tightly in place and secures while sharpening. Great buy!
