  • AOZITA CLEAR SPICE JARS
Model: AO-001
I love these clear square spice jars! I purchased 2 boxes of 24 jars each and all 48 jars fit perfectly on the 2 tiered (3 tiers) expandable spice shelves that I purchased also to get my spice cabinet organized. They come with a white pen, a collapsible silicone funnel and different styles of pre-printed spice labels to use plus plenty of blank labels to write what spice that you have that isn’t already pre-printed. My spice cabinet is now very organized, looks beautiful and I can finally see, know what I have & can find easily what spice I’m looking for! These jars were well packaged & not a single one was broken upon delivery. Very pleased with how they look in my newly organized spice cabinet. I highly recommend these square clear spice jars! ... show more

  • Perfect 4 oz. Spice Bottles
Model: AO-001
The spice bottles arrived in pristine condition with no breakage, residue(s) or smell(s). They were shipped in sturdy cardboard outer packaging with a cardboard divider system inside. I purchased this set for my 20 basic homemade (non-pork) sausage making spices and herbs. After receiving these, I am going to order six more cases to put the rest of our spices and herbs in. I like to leave the plastic sprinkle/pour covers on for the sake of giving the metal caps a better seal with the bottles since there are no gaskets. This will help keep the spices fresher longer. It only takes about 1/10th of a second to pull the plastic cover off and snap back on. Small inconvenience for a non-shaker and a non-sprinkler. The 4 oz. bottles are large enough to accommodate probably 98% of the herbs and spices bought at the local supermarket and online. The exception are the bulk purchases that come in larger bottles or pouches. After filling bottles from bulk spices, I store the surplus in a cool dark pantry in Food Saver sealed pouches. The problem is that few of us buy all of our herbs and spices from the same processer. And each one of them seems to have their own shapes and sizes. This can make shelf storage disorganized and bulky even with a spice rack. These 4 oz. bottles are a uniform solution that only enhance shelf storage and make finding the right spice quickly a real snap. The uniformity also sooths OCD. I found the included labels to be virtually worthless. White lettering on a clear background is cool and a favorite of mine. But when the list only includes about 1/2 of the labels needed it becomes a funky chaotic mess to use white letter and black dot labels (half of which have to be handwritten). The "Toothpick" spice label was an odd touch. You cannot have a Sweet Basil label, but you can have a Toothpick label. I digress. They should include only the white letter labels, or only black dot labels, with every known herb/spice. I just view the label sets as extra package padding and threw them out. I would still pay the $19.99 for 24 4 oz. spice jars which is a fairly standard rate unless you are a large processor buying your bottles in bulk. My solution was to use my Avery labels and online templates to create my own labels and to keep a uniform look. For me, personally, the white lettering makes it ten times easier to locate the spice I need. This, too, has a great calming effect for folks with OCD. The collapsable funnel is an appreciated cute touch but highly impractical if you are filling multiple spice jars during the same sitting. One would need to rinse out the funnel after each spice and let it dry. Fingers and thumb around the top of the bottle is the best funnel because it can be rinsed and dried in a seconds. Never cross contaminate spices until you are ready to mix them in your recipe. Practical thoughts: Whenever one purchases food storage items, an average person of rational reasoning and plain basic common sense would be smart enough to use warm soapy water and a hot water rinse to clean contaminates out of the product. This will clean out shop residue, shop odors, and human cross contamination The same can be said of clothing that has been tried on by how many unbathed or non-hand washing customers in a store. Broken bottles are not a product fault unless it can be demonstrated that there were deficiencies in the manufacturing. This is more likely a shipping issue. From the packaging, i would say to get broken bottles the box would have to be dropped from about ten to fifteen feet off the ground or fallen out of a delivery truck at about 45 miles an hour. ... show more

  • Makes spice cabinet look nice!
Model: AO-001
Perfect size containers, helped me organize the spice cabinet. They came with a lot of premade labels. For the ones that didn't come premade, I used my Cricut and their blank labels that come precut in the same size. There are also premade and blank black labels for the lids, that you can write on with the white marker (included). Unfortunately, I had more spices than I thought and am going to need to order another pack. ... show more

  • Negative Reviews Run From the Laughable to the Absurd
Model: AO-001
First, always wash stuff you buy before you use it. That's common sense. 2. If stuff breaks, it's a shipping issue; not a product issue. 3. Too many labels? That's a first. Rust? I've not experienced rust but WD-40 will take care of that. This is my third order of these fantastic jars and I've never received a broken one. The funnel is so-so. I just cup my left hand around the mouth of the jar to create a funnel and pour the spice into the jar with my right hand. The labels are FAB. YOU. LUSS. If you cook, and I mean really cook, you'll be happy to have your Garam Masala and Sazon and Gumbo File labels. A couple of tips; if you're going to put the label on the lid, close the jar first so that when you place your label, it will be aligned with the front of the jar. If you buy a second set, you'll receive the same set of labels which you can then use to put on the FRONT of the jar. Now that I've received another set (one set was a gift and I didn't keep the labels), I can affix labels to the front of the jar to make them easier to spot in the drawer without having to lift a jar. Each jar comes with a plastic lid that is a shaker/pourer and I seldom use those as I'm more about spooning or pouring spices into my hand. However, I have kept all those discs right inside the cap of each spice jar. I hope this makes sense. I've always received this in a sturdy cardboard box with a corrugated cardboard insert that separates jars from one another; the funnel was in the center space in a plastic bag. This set included some new labels I hadn't received before in the style of block lettering. You won't get a complete set of spices (as you do with the round, black labels) but they're nice enough and there's no reason you can't use them in some way. Mine will go into a scrapbook or greeting cards I make with a food motif. I've give clients a set of two or four jars filled with herbs or spices I think they may enjoy. I had my "business card" printed in a circle that I affix to the back of the jar, label the front of the jar, tie raffia with my business card attached, and it's a big hit. Think outside the box with these; they're quite elegant and modern looking and the quality of the glass is heavy. I'll keep buying these until I run out of spices to store or clients with whom to share. ... show more
