    • Great LOUD Alarm Clock but use FRESH batteries
After 7 years, I finally got my dream job. I have been late for work one time in the last 5 years however, unlike my last job the first year at my new company if I am one minute late, I am terminated. You can see how important a reliable LOUD alarm clock would be especially because I am constantly switching from day shift to night shift so there is zero sleep pattern. While I still have my iPhone, iPad, and regular alarm clocks as backup this one has worked great the last 3 months! It’s a very loud/annoying alarm clock, the only problem I have is I used semi decent batteries in it and it failed to keep my alarms and time during a power outage, luckily my backup phone woke me up. Put a fresh battery in it and have tested it numerous times by unplugging it and that seems to have been the culprit. Overall still 5 stars bc it’s the best loudest one out there I’ve seen besides the Screaming Meanie, but this one is AC not solely batteries so 👍🏻. ... show more

    • So Loud that I am afraid to sleep
I got this alarm clock because I am the heaviest of sleepers. Like, I am talking Roy "Chubby" Brown heavy. I needed something that could wake me up. I have had 4 jobs already this year because I just couldn't make it to work on time! When I first set this up, I thought it was wonderful. I tested it and i could tell it would definitely wake me up. Well, boy howdy, it woke me up! This alarm clock is so loud that it made me jump so high, I actually busted my head through my ceiling and into my neighbors bedroom! Now, I am so scared about it startling me awake... I can't even sleep! Please send help. Luckily for me, this thing has pretty poor construction. After only a few weeks, the plug for the power unit has weakened to the point that it barely keeps power. If it isn't on it can't scare me. However, now I am missing work again and about to lose my job... Well, I guess I should have just bought another alarm clock I suppose. ... show more

I am very alarmed by how I did not receive it. In that sense, yes, it is loud enough. But, the alarm is the sound of silence. If I could give this zero stars for the sound, I would, because I have not, as yet, seen it in my possession. I get that I should notify the seller, but I am very glad that I also tried to buy the old school alarm, and that works, but this one, according to the description, has pretty much everything that I would have wanted. Anyway, if it's worth it, maybe to whoever stole it which is irrational to consider, I expect to see a longer review than this, and I hope that the person that lost it can use it to wake up early enough to work to deliver my next alarm. BOOO to the delivery driver that probably didn't steal it. Anyway, I want a refund, but will do that later. Kinda sad:p ... show more

I'm hard of hearing. This extra loud alarm worked fine for several weeks, then maximal sound volume decreased to the point where this alarm was entirely useless for me.

I needed a loud alarm; I am a Vietnam DAV with a 40% hearing loss so I thought this one would do the trick. It worked one day and the next day it didn't. I love the 5 alarm settings, So I bought the same once again, but in a different color. I hope the first one was an anomaly. I will write another review when I get my new one.
