Just got this Pex-B Clamp and did only 8 crimp fittings on 1/2 PEX. As long as you hold it perpendicular to the clamp, it does a beautiful job. We have a suspicion we may have thrown the calibration checker away? We didn't find anything in the packaging? Not sure what is looks like, however. I don't see any adjustments on the Clamp Tool even if it was out of adjustment. Maybe I can call the Manufacturer for more information? It is simple to use and a simple design. Simple is good. Got this one on a discount which made the buying decision easier. Thank you. We previously had the Apollo Pex Clamp tool from HD. It had a Blue LED that lit when the crimp was completed. After around 6 - 1" crimps, the LED quit lighting. It came with extra batteries but the problem was the fine wire to the battery holder broke. There was also a return spring that was popping out. Junk. Glad we got our $$ back. It was pretty cool, while it worked. ... show more

Worked well! Super easy to use. No leaks. The tool wont release until it’s properly crimped. Just make sure you double check the gap of the tool using the provided gauge prior to use. Closing the handle takes a bit of strength, but I think it’s very doable for lost people. After doing about ten of them in a row though, your arm/hands may be a bit tired. ... show more
