  • Definitely Works
Size: 16"x50ft
The high temp picture is without the insulation. The 92.3 is with it. The final picture is the temperature with heat reflective curtains in addition to this insulation. Obviously the temperature drop with both combined is tremendously impressive. I live in an old building and my patio windows are dual pane however being that they are so old, they do not insulate in the least. I highly recommend this product also in addition to some magnetic thermal insulated curtains. An absolute must for southern summers. ... show more

  • works well on our old windows
Size: 48"x 50' ( WHITE)
This has made a big difference with our old windows. Most of our windows are old single pane with a storm window. I put this insulation on the inside after taping up the storm window on the outside to stop air flow. The bedrooms are warmer now, and should be cooler this summer.

  • Great product but…
Size: 24"x50ft
The 24x50 does not cover a 20 panel garage door. Shy of 5 panels..

  • Works OK
Size: 48"x 50' ( WHITE)
Used to insulate garage doors. Worked OK with a little left over.

  • Easy to work with
Size: 48"x 50' ( WHITE)
I love this stuff. I don't have a very scientific way of measuring its insulating property, but you can tell the shiny side is bouncing heat back at you. Just 5mm seems like it made a big difference. I used this to insulate the inside of a brick foundation wall and also function as a vapor barrier. The below-grade part of the wall transmits moisture from the ground, which I wanted to block, and the above-grade part of the wall gets cold in winter and condenses moisture from the house. I think this material will do both things and we are hoping it really reduces our moisture/mold problem. I'm thinking of using the leftovers to insulate appliances (freezer, fridge, water heater). Anyway, I wanted to say how easy this stuff is to work with. It has enough body that it was easy to measure and cut with the roll standing up (to avoid dust getting on it by touching the floor), and to lay it into place, is easy to cut with ordinary shears (you can just push the shears along it), lightweight enough that I'm not worried about it falling off the wall. It also has a bit of stretch to it, just enough that it can accommodate the unevenness of the wall and be pressed closely in to the butyl tape we used to mount it (to which it stuck quite convincingly). I sealed two panels together using foil tape on the shiny side. The polyethylene membrane on the white side is quite thin, but overall I am confident this material will work as an effective enough vapor barrier for the purpose at hand. Altogether, I am very happy with this material. ... show more

  • Works great if complete roll
Size: 16"x50ft
Did my shop with this using 16in rolls. My third order of 50ft, came up short at 44ft so not able to complete, also have a slice thru a 4ft section so really only got about 35ft of usable. Will shop another brand due to this but if you get a good roll its good easy to work with stuff. Lays right between 2x4's. Also used one roll in RV to shore up underbelly heat loss. Updated review, seller refunded the full price due to issue with one roll. Will order again ... show more

  • Awesome material, definitely not cheap bubble wrap stuff!
Size: 48"x100ft
I bought this a while ago, and I built a cold storage room for canned items and canning foods for a customer. I put up 1” by 3/4” Slats of wood over the drywall. Then painted everything and sealed it. Then I went through and cut all these pieces and use more of the wooden slats to go over it and hold it in place along with liquid nail. So there Is a gap between the drywall and this insulation. So when it’s 110 outside like it was the other day it’s 57° in there. Plus, I oversize the AC a little that helped I’m sure I recommend this stuff if you do it, it will definitely help tremendously! ... show more

  • Works great in 110 degree heat
Size: 72"x50ft
I live in the Las Vegas area. Summer temps can get up to 114F. My house has a wall of windows that face west, which is the worst possible configuration for a desert home. The sun blazes through the windows all afternoon and my ac has to run non-stop for hours just to keep the interior temp at 80-82 degrees. Closing the shutters didn't help. I found this reflective foam insulation and taped it to the interior window frame with double stick Gorilla tape. OMG the temperature difference is incredible. It's a good 15 degrees cooler. I can keep the ac at 75 and it runs about 50% fewer hours. Highly recommend. ... show more
